Back in the 50-60's Dixie Gunworks sold this as a kit for around $50. Stock was roughed out and unfinished, so you'd have to contour and stain, etc. All the metal parts were 90% finished but needed to be steel-wooled and polished, etc. I always wanted one but didn't do it, alas

My hearing is fucked up a little. I know i'm gonna be really screwed later on in life from shooting one of these things every day while in my trade. I was too cool(lazy) to use ear plugs everytime i would be poppin caps.


I always wore ear plugs when shooting high velocity caps though, .38 usually for adding pins in the decking for hangerwires in suspended ceilings, so at least I won't be completely deaf? Maybe not? This is an HV gun, it went booooooom right next to your ear lol.

i have enough for a walk in safe but my favorites are the H&K USP 45, Benelli M4(shotgun,) and my heavily modified/supressed 300Blackout. looking at picking up more european rifles as i also like what sig has to offer.

My dad had an antique 1800's or earlier Blunder bust hanging on the wall in firing condition. I heard they would jam them full of whatever metal they could find when out of ammo. nails, etc.

yeah would be cool to have. he sold it when hard times hit. what can you do...

He collects a lot of old, antique, primitive stuff. Native American, Eskimo, Early car parts, oriental rugs, pocket watches shit like that, anything and everything really. Used to hit the auctions all the time. I guess I was lucky enough to learn about the stuff he is interested in. I've got a good eye because of it.
