I dont like to think of my garden as no till. I like to think of it as a self composting garden bed. Basically I may have started with manures and straw and compost but if I turn my soil over now you will see its 100% worm castings. The whole thing has been transformed by the worms. All the magic happens on the top layer. The mulch is a constant food source for the worms. They are always there munching away. I often throw food scraps on there as a treat for the worms and they happily eat it up in no time. Same with any top dress like bokashi compost or manure. The worms take to it and within a week it just looks like the rest of the soil.
The whole thing is an active compost/worm farm.

This is just my views of course.

I don't know how anyone grows food (or weed) without worms, they are the workhorses of the soil after all!

Going to get a few supplies this weekend to start prepping for outdoors this weekend might make a small mix and try a couple in soil indoors, i'd like to see the difference between that and my usual coco plants

I mix up my soil for my outdoor plants but have never been to sure about using it indoors ,have been keen 2 give it a go for a while but been unsure about how the nutrients will break down. Guess there is only 1 way to find out hey. Thanks for the encouragement m8

what size space are you growing in?

that has more to do with it than watts. but as a rough guide i would say one of the dual lamp versions would be a straight swap for a 1000w what in my opinion . i am running one of the dual lamp set ups in one of my tents and love it
