what im worried about is the disease is not in the beans alone but is a fungal infection that will/has infected the grow area that was originally on the seeds, it cannot be got rid off once an area is infected, only controlled or held back to a certain level, over $4000 alone on myco/tricho treatments spent last season, still had approx 50% deathrate, thats why im very wary of passing on beans to anyone for the momentI dunno man, could be coincidental too, nature has a way of these things occuring when the time is right. If it keeps happening to your mate, just tell him to stop using the beans you gave him.
