do you dial in night time temps?

My mini split AC takes care of temps during lights on (77F), but I have no way of programming a different temp for night time. Instead during lights off (2-8am in veg, 10pm-10am flower), the AC is programmed to turn off its cooling mode and so I am left to the mercy of ambient temps. This is ok since it never really gets super cold here, and even in winter the AC will kick into heat mode if it drops below a certain point, but still it is on my mind to go one better than this. I'd like to achieve a steady 10 degree difference from day to night if I can with little fluctuation.

How do you guys dial in your night time temps to where you want them?

Atm I am getting 72-82F. Between lights on and off I get about a 10F drop. It will be interesting later with this set up I have when the temps cool down for winter. I can imagine something like 60's off and 70's on.

Having my ac hooked up to a sentinel. Can you not put your mini split on a time for a full 24hrs?
Of course but that will only manage one temperature for the whole period. It is not programmable for a different temperature at a different time.

i press the buttons on the remote when i plug/unplug my lights.

for the record, don't listen to a thing RM3 says. if he is right, it is by accident.

So you manually turn your lights on and shift AC every day? Yeah, not doing that.
