My Amare, Hydroponics Hut, & SunCloak Grow

It's for me lol.

I'm running my ebb and grow system and my plants are wilting and yellowing immediately when I put them in flower under the Pro9. I'm using tap and I think it's the pH fluctuations. My tap is 130ppm and 7.0 so not bad water, but it's still tap. Filled my rez and set it to 5.8. 12Hrs later it's back up to 6.8. Set it back to 5.8. This morning up to 6.2. So I think the tap is still messing with my pH and causing lock out. I got the 55gal rez, a 40gal rez, and a 25gal rez for veg. Hydro guy said he's hook me up with a 200gpd system, but I want to make sure the tap is the issue.

Ah, my bad

While 130ppm does not seem like bad, who knows what quality of minerals you municipality uses? I do, cheap crap

Now, you cannot trust the stated output unless you have an ro with a quality pump, which I would recommend with all the water production you need. My 75gpd probably makes 25 actual as I draw on it

Something like this http://www.123filter.com/catalog/ispring-rcs5t-usa-best-value-commercial-ro-500-gpd-tankless-side-flow-reverse-osmosis-water-filter-1-1-waste-ratio.html?osCsid=p8mu56ha7cisqigibsfo5i1pc3

Better still, although gpd is less, filters are larger. You will be going through a lot of smaller filters

i recommend everyone get a permeate pump for their r/o system.it has boosted my output by at least 50% and makes cleaner water.i have never measured the waste side but they say it can reduce waste water by more than 50% sometimes alot more.but that has more to do with your starting pressures.

When are you doing the economy cob panel comparison? He told me if my yield was less than with the Amare he would refund my money.

Sort of. Eco messaged me about that clearance panel and said if my yields were less than Amare he would return whatever was paid. Maybe he would do this deal with you too. He had a 4 cob 500w panel for 400 bucks. My passion picked it up already. wattage is higher on Eco than the se-450 so it should be a good test.

There's no way in hell a 500w Eco will beat out our 450's or a Pro-4. As for them refunding your money. I doubt it. But, comparison runs are needed.
I tell people to run their questionable light against a proven standard in led light to know if they got good results. Just compare to what you know is good. But if you already own one of the best, what's the point? So my suggestion is Kind've lame. I did it that's why've suggested it. But I also lost a bunch of money doing so that run.
I'm not buying one, that's for sure. But I did offer to do the side by side for them. They ran from that though.
How's them monster Autos doing? Man, you flip twice to my one! Ha! I'm sure you've dialed it in & will get them denser this time.

I was thinking if it didn't perform I could just take the cobs out and ditch the rest of the light. But in reality there is only about 120 dollars worth of usable parts and that's 1/2 oz worth of weed. Not worth the risk.

The round I just harvested was 100% better than the one before. A lot less plants and in a smaller room though and a New Ac did the trick. First run in my new room I pulled 4 lbs of good bud and 1 lb of cheaper shit I unloaded for 120 oz untrimmed. Still made some money. Last run I'm drying now looks like 2-2.5 lbs they were under my DIY and 2 lec's.

Since things were so hectic I didn't start the next batch when I should have so I'm behind but they should actually be half way done instead I'm on day 15 from seed. So 1/5 th done 75-80 days start to finish. This means I need to drop 12 more in another 25-30 days. FTW I love autos:bigjoint:image.jpeg

A permeate pump is a ONE on a the scale 10 is a 1- compared to a real pump

If I had it like that, I would bud! How's your grow skillz? You gonna be able to show us if that light will do well?
You got the 4 Cob w/ 9 clusters? How much of a discount did you get @ 4 beans?
You got plants ready? 4 small, 2 medium, or 1 big?
I need 1 more light for my Amare plants right now. Then I could take 1 & move it to the back corner & have 2 big/medium sized under the 450.
Looking foward to seeing your grow. Good luck!

@ThaMagnificent , this is the pump I recommend to bubble your rez. image.jpgimage.jpg
It's powerful & w/ a big stone or 2 would bubble out any impurities that can be bubbled out after the filter. It won't drop your PPM but it will level out your PH. Which seams to be the problem.
If you put PH down in water straight from the tap, it will raise again. But if you bubble it, it will not.

I got one of those big guys. Just bought a ro system so that should solve it too....

DIY cloak lol. I spent some time searching higher wattage LEDs or LED strip lighting to make some cloak knock off blades for between the trays but it seems like unless I purchase the chips individually there is no real solution for high wattage bars. These are extremely bright believe it or not but the wattage is way to low to be useful I bet .25 watts per diode. Sort of like those plastic 20 watt grow lights on Amazon for 18 bucks

Se450 or pro9
Well, my SE-450 gets 3'10" about @ 32" w/ lenses. But that's just footprint. Intensity the plants can handle will vary between strains. I'm @ 29" from the tallest buds right now. W/o lenses it does well @ 18"-22". But I tested it @ 7" & it did great except the monos weren't mixed. My last grow I didn't use the lenses.
As far as the Pro-9 goes. I was under the impression it's to be used 3'-4' away w/ lenses. Maybe down to 2' w/o. But I'm not sure. Those monos have lenses right?
