no wucking furries, mate.
Hey brother ! I think that the guy really tried to help all he could but the thread just became a magnet of people looking for someone to build and maintain their gardens for them. Did you read some of the questions that were being posted. COMMON!!! LOLHey sparkafire,
What happened to Al??
How is your aero-cloner working out-any probs with consistency??
Folks, the rate of questions and posts in this thread is starting to get out of control. I'm putting about 6h+/day in this now to cover them all and that's become excessive. I have to get more done in my own op. Apologies if I don't get to your queries for a day or two, but I gotta get my own house in order.
didja see this?
I woulda told her I was surfing for gay internet porn or something. You wouldn't want her to think you've gotten stuck into drugs or anything like that.funny how much time it takes to keep up with it. I know my wife wanted to know why i was in my room for so long last night?? LOL and my grow is half of yours.
No, purpdaddy isn't here today. Are you getting it licked?
yeah, might have had something to do with a bad plate of nachos. That was some back log. Ouch.or was the back log a bit more than expected?
Anytime ABF glad i could contribute. LOL TTYSBTW, anytime I need a straight line for a bad joke, I'm comin' here, sparko.
You might be right. I like writing about growing, but not when I have to explain kindergarten level stuff. Then it becomes work. Unfortunately, I don't get to choose the thread participants between the serious growers who just need a small pointer and the fuckwit dilettantes who solicit your best counsel and then completely ignore it. I don't want to be an elitist snob, but I'm a bit sick of ppl who just aren't serious about it.He will be back i think but not as a moderator of his own thread again.
Being new and never had to manicure yet i have heard stories about how tedious it can be.I hate manicuring, but I hate it more when I don't actually need to harvest, plenty of buds in the stash box at the mo. But you know wot? If you wanna quit your day job, right-now availability is better than conoissewer quality.
250ml of coffee to go.
You know, without waving my wedding tackle around too much, I'm too popular for my own good. Get A Harvest Every 2 Weeks wound up being a deluge and so has FAQt in recent weeks. FAQt has climbed from 350 reads/day to 427/day in less than 5 days in the last week.

It might be that I've been too accessible. I may need an advanced growers' thread or forum where there's some filtering going on for admission. I may need my own site where there is a nominal subscription fee, just to sort out the time wasters from the earnest growers.
Dunno, wodja think?
oh yeah, being a 1-man band is everything. Partners are nothing but grief. Lone wolf ops can run decades with never a scrape with LEO.There are a couple of reasons of the size of my room. 1 I have to do all the work myself. 2 and probably the most important one was quality.
Once upon a time, 'homegrown' universally meant 'inferior' or 'unprofessional.' Home hydroponics, with a smattering of good growing info, turns that fully on its head. Everyone wants 'hydro,' no one carps that it was grown in Joe Schmoe's spare room instead of in a commercial dope factory by a team of underworld growing experts. When your reputation out grows your actual product you have arrived
I grew up on a farm and i have a large vegetable garden with about a 3rd of an acre to play with so i have a green thumb . BUT I WOULD NEVER been able to get where i am without this site!!!! HYDRO in any quantity has such a learning curve i would have had my plants die before i knew it just because from lack of knowledge. Before i found this site i almost had bought a bunch of books to start the process of learning it.Once upon a time, 'homegrown' universally meant 'inferior' or 'unprofessional.' Never forget that I am a stoned slacker.HMMM i like it !! question though do you WANT your own site or could the higher ups here set you up with a thread that you let people into work?
Your a buzz kill!!!Never forget that I am a stoned slacker.
If I put up my own site, it becomes a longish term commitment and an awful lot like work, especially if paid subs are involved. Money changes everything. It becomes a lot harder to be anon if you need to get paid.
If I'm a volunteer contributor to a forum, should I need to shift priorities, I can do the bolt for a week or three and no one's too put out.
feh.
If I asked really nicely I might be given a forum to mod, but I expect no quarter from rollitup admin. I'm just a forum user like any other. If I got one, everybody would want one, all that. Not for me, I've been a mod before and it's not my cuppa.
I owe an awful lot to the early days of cannabis.com and overgrow.com. cannabis.com has become fascist and corporate (censors critique of fake buds as fake buds sellers are among their advertisers) and OG is of course dead due to a conservative govt in Canada, but those two were immensely helpful to me in the early 90s, when I was making the transition from 1970s fluoro/soil oldtech to HID & hydroponics. You better believe that among the very first things I searched for on that newfangled internet thingo (with my hotshit 4MHZ IBMPC & 1200 baud modem, an upgrade from the VIC-20 & 300 baud modem) was cannabis growing info.BUT I WOULD NEVER been able to get where i am without this site!!!!
