let me clarify. when i started growing someone gave me a couple of autos. at the time i wasnt aware that they would still bud under 20 hours of light a day. so when they started i put them in my flower tent. they grew just fine, but they would have been larger if i would have left them in the veg tent, which is what i do now. so they grow next to each other till flower, then they get separated now that i know better.
i thought you were saying they had some kind of metaphysical effect on each other or something...
No, lol, no "metaphysical effect" on each other. The auto can be grown in a straight 18/6 light cycle but the photo needs to go to 12/12 for flower, which deviates from the light cycle of the auto which causes problems...or at least that is what I read. See, I only have one tent and I try to do everything from beginning to end in the tent. This run is the only exception. I have four plants going, all at different stages. (I would never recommend that btw; it really screws things up). I mean, sure the plant should grow and produce under almost any light cycle, but it may drastically decrease the yield of the auto because it does not get enough light to flower. I'm still considering adding my GSCP to the mix, I just haven't decided yet.

Right before i left texas, i bought some bottles of Dutch Pro specifically for AutoFlower .... guna see what kind of results that has! Just dug those out of meh closettt
My first of four plants is in "preliminary drying stage" meaning that I have just completed the flush stage and will let it dry out a couple of days or so before I start cutting this beast down. If you wish I can pm you pics of my Durga-Mata cross that i have grown out using exclusively Dutch Pro nutes, just so you can get an idea of what to expect. So far, the Dutch Pro schedule has been dead on track. The only thing that I did not do properly with this run is the light cycle. I left the light cycle on 18/6 throughout the entire grow, as opposed to switch from 18/6 to 16/8, back to 18/6, yada-yada...Oh, and I used a HPS throughout the entire grow too; as opposed to start with MH for veg and switch to HPS for flowering. I won't ever do that again either. From now on, I have decided to start with a MH for veg and HPS for flowering.

What setup and lights are everyone using for this grow?
I'll be growing them in hydroton w/ 5 gal drip feed hydro buckets under 1000W MH/HPS now that were approaching cooler weather.
Thanks again @Jack Vault for the opportunity. My first Auto grown so this should be fun!
2 Marshydro 600 LED fixtures (550+/- watts actual).
FFOF SOIL (60/40 Perlite).
Maxibloom Nutrients (Lucas).
3 gallon smart pots.
Finishing up my Nyc Sour Diesel grow to start this one soon=Excitement!!!

That’s the Comparative now CLOSED guys.

All the seeds have been used up, so no new entrants can enter.

However if you have entered and been declined for not supplying the correct info you may still enter; the seeds have been set aside for you – but please make sure to reply to me this week or the seeds that have been set aside may be used for someone else.

I’m looking forward to seeing how all you guys get on :)

And a BIG BIG thanks to all you guys who have left us good reviews – once I get all of the remaining Comparative packages sent out tomorrow I’ll be giving another shout out to see if the rest of you can help too :)

That's definitely cool of you to set beans aside for those that wasn't able to sign up for some reason. +rep on that note. As for the review, I tried to do so on seed finder but wasn't able to do so. If you could provide a link to a place I or we can do the review or reviews for you I wouldn't mind doing that 4 you one bit bro.. thanks again for all that you do.

Peace & hamburger grease.

I've grown them together. I've grown autos under 12/12 at the end. 12/12 the whole time will hurt yield. Doing it after stretch, not as bad.

I have about 5 weeks or so left on my GG#4 in the flower room. I figure by the time it takes for the seeds to arrive in the US, plus the time I'll have them under 24 hrs in the veg room (approx 3-4 wks?), the GG#4 should be done and the Skywalkers will go under the big lights in the flower room at 20/4. If I'm correct, this should be about the time they begin flowering and stop stretching. I have zero experience in autos so this is just an educated guess.

I found a website dedicated exclusively autoflowers: https://autoflower.net/. Pretty much everything that you want to know about autos is on that site. Furthermore, if you go to the homepage of rollitup.org there is a section dedicated to autoflowers too. You probably already knew that, just trying to help out.

My only "successful" grows have been autos. This is for two reasons: 1.) They seem to tell you when to go to the next stage of growing, hence the name "auto". 2.) They seem to be more forgiving of mistakes such as: over/under feeding or watering, light deprivation, pest and mold issues...they seem to be almost kill proof. (Although I've killed some somehow). They are an awesome beginner plant for sure. The only drawback is that once an auto is done, it's done and that's it there is no more. With a photo, you could potentially keep it going forever (I'm guessing) and never go without ever again.

I'm in the Midwest and every time I have something come through customs it takes a bit longer for them to release at O'Hare. The Chicago port is one of the toughest ports in the States and are known for green taping...& unfortunately I've experienced it but from another "not so stealthy" bank. It was labeled for customs as "gravel & rocks" LMAO so you can probably guess why it was green taped & caught. My average is somewhere around 12-14 days from UK to MI though if no hang ups at the border.

lol, did you notice that the Comparative is running on autoflower.net too? :)
In my opinion the guys here have more skills and knowledge than AFN :)

They can be fussy! Watch your feeding - start low and work up if need be! Be sure you have proper Ca available and the same for micro's/minerals! Those tried were all fussy - like a sativa fussy for the most part!
