Growing in Michigan? Not for LONG!

Another thing was this pizza style delivery side of the road bit.....that probably made them go overboard with the transfering thing. All I can say is people did it to themselves by going farther and pushing the boundaries during this process of establishing rules and licenses that was coming for the disp program.
 
The way I read it all that's changing is you people tring to make money threw illegal dispensaries are out of luck....any self respecting caregiver doesn't give 2 shits about The problems the future holds for dispensary owners .....look you guys knew you were breaking the law,weather you like it or not.. Do I think it's wrong yes
But I also think you made your choice.

How so? just for my own information on the legality of the state to monitor and control a federally illegal substance?

Are there laws on the books that state they cannot weigh product being sold in the state?

I do see that Caregivers have been pushed out of the selling situation.

I didn't think they should be doing that in the first place under the law written.

What I do see is some disp and caregivers who were trying to make their own laws....lol.

The law says caregivers can only recoup costs......pretty plane that we could never sell our meds

That's the main thing right there they knew they were skating and pushed it to the limit. All the while the government was watching and learning about how they are doing it. So they created rules to stop what they did not agree with.

no, the carolina tax stamp initiative was to help any and all. grow your product, transport it to the capitol (illegally), turn it in to requisition, and allow it to be processed. once processed, you will be given 'tax stamps' showing your product is legal, and you've paid the tax.

the problem is, it's illegal to grow/manufacture/transport/display/sell...

so if you go this route, you will be jailed, indefinitely, and you will receive no tax stamp, and you will not conduct business...

tax stamps were a way to get people to tell on themselves, entrapment if you will. so long as there is money to be made, we will be seen as criminals.
 
One more thing to consider if the supreme court thinks this law in any way shape or form infringes on patients rights and laws they will either overturn it and/or recommend certain sections be removed.

The other side is true as well if the Court decides that none of it effects the patients/caregiver laws as written it will stand.
 
I just don't like dispensary owners complaining about being busted when they willingly broke our med law to profit of of patients..and then fearmonger about how the sky is falling
 
So what's the end game here really?

TAXES!!! :D they now get 3% more on top of the 6% michigan sales tax that will be paid if you plan on selling cannabis. That is basically what it's all about. and those rules give guidelines so they get their share.
 
Another thing some of them were doing is the con of signing up patients and saying they could still grow their own while using some of their allotted 12 plants without even telling them.....that's another one of the reasons they made it that you cannot work at a disp if you are a caregiver, grow and sell pot.
Conflict of interest going on there on several levels and a scam to everyone involved in the system.

This goes back to no regulations and people just ad libbing the law or outright breaking it.

Even if the Federal government made it legal to smoke pot the State and the Feds have the right to regulate, enforce, and collect taxes on revenues.

So you can bet when and if the Fed makes it legal they will get their's too.

That's part of the whole great American Capitalist System............:clap:

I also saw they plan on making edibles and other forms legal as well...so that's something.

ok if this passes will the patient still have to buy there cards . but they cant grow there own . and real patients dont have much money will not be able to go to a dispen to purchase there meds . they will be fucked . and the bad thing is the patients product quality WILL drop . costing them 3 times as much .

not true. patients will be under the patient act and that has not changed.

that is all i care about lol . wow wee . i was like holy fuck what is a guy to do . go to a dispen pay 3 times as much for there product pulled 3 weeks to early . news i have found http://www.detroitnews.com/story/news/local/michigan/2016/09/08/medical-marijuana/90003264/ also i think this is a good law if it does not fuck with caregivers or patients . i know i would not mind paying a 3 % tax on profit if mi said i was 100 % legal to open a dispen . if it passe could be a great business for somebody . possible a dream job for some .
