ya know what here let me educate you.. When you say 90 degrees. for co2 ok yea that helps veg and growth but at the same time it also gets your root zone hotter than you ever want it to be.. So benefit yea but also has major drawbacks that is worst then the benefit as any experienced grower knows if you get into the 80f range you start to be on the border of problems above 85 and your in the extreme danger zone.. If you know anything you would know that and why don't you be specific with also having to increase co2 ppm when you go to that temp but again.. why risk the issues on the other end?? Tell me I am wrong now.. Since I gave you the whole info .. you can't
Look at you Mr. Ego. Mr. Hey look at my phone number on my icon, I sell clones because I sure as hell don't grow weight!
It's my understanding he also like lady boysChanged his fucking AVATAR quick like didn't he? Smart.....but too late..
Dr I've got mad respect for you and I don't want to be part of this pissing contest, so I'm just sticking with questions you asked me. I sprayed with a titan controller set at 1500 ppm. Homemade halo style bracket hanging off the light ( which is vented maybe that's where some of the gas went ) 1/4" hose with slits cut in it. I forgot to put a timer on it for lights on only so I wasted a lot right there. I'm struggling with stretch over the past few grows. And I thought I might fix one thing at a time. Thanks and peace out Bare.WRONG!
That's not an Iron def!
Iron defs start to show at the core of the new growth. The higher up the plant, the more pronounced it shows. (Same for Sulfur defs ! S def is more yellow looking and Ir defs more white or less yellow then S. They tend to happen together in MM as I've seen them mostly from pH imbalance and blocking uptake.)
Too much P too early! PERIOD!
What equipment do you have to gas with?

Cool,,,Titan regulator "control" like this -
![]()
To me a "controller" is this -
https://4hydroponics.com/autopilot-digital-environmental-controller
This controls everything you'll need to in a smaller area and/or a non-generator source.
You set the temp and RH limits
You set the gas "on" time to hit your goal ppm (You use the formula - height of the area X length X width X .0015 for 1500ppm. If you want less ppm you change the last decimal point to what you want - Say if you want it to be 1300ppm then it would X.0013.
Example: 5X5X7 foot tent would be 175 cubic ft X .0013 (for 1300ppm) = .2275 or .23 cubic ft of Co2 to reach 1300 ppm in that area.
Now to calculate how long the valve should be open to reach that 1300 ppm. You divide the # of cubic ft of gas required by the regulators set flow rate...Lets say 50 cft per hr is the set flow rate.
Example: .23 / 50 = .001058 hrs to hit 1300 ppm. Now take the .001058 and multiply by 60 (minutes in an hr) = .06348 minutes or 3.8 seconds by mutiplying the .06348 by 60 (seconds) and you have your gas "on" time answer. I would round that up to 4 seconds and have the controller spray every 10 minutes to hold that ppm...This would work for a small area properly running gas.
Every time the controller cycles the for the temp/Rh levels. When the unit detects it's safely low again it stops the cooling/lowering of RH and restarts the gassing cycles again!
Simple, painless and set it and forget it easy!
Yes sir, mine is just like picture. Is it just a waste of time money and effort to use the one I have tell me the truth, it won't be the first time, money and effort I wasted. Thanks Dr.
holy shit, I remember when these were nearing $2k, this is a nothing to think about go for itNo
No, no! you need that to make any "environmental controller work" ! It's actually the regulator of how much gas per hr in cubic feet it allows OUT of the tank at any given time.
For this controller I linked you to. EBAY has the best pricing -
At as low as $159.99 and free shipping w/a 3 day delivery! you can't beat that with a stick!

I have lots of friends running various "controllers".. The best "reviews" come from the Auto-Pilot owners!

Yes sir, once again you are correct. My bad I confused controller and regulator. My controller is a titan I don't remember the model number it has a ppm sensor light on/off sensor.
Can you suggest a setting on the regular.
Ok Dr the controller is the Titan atlas 2.
That is a Co2 ppm controller only.
It might work with the Auto pilot as that is an ENVIRONMENTAL controller! I say the environmental controller is far more important.
Most folks gas at 10 - 20 cft an hour of pressure....Depends on how high your regulator goes...
The droop and wrinkles in the leaves.Much respect @Dr. Who
Really appreciate you sharing your experienced and knowledge here!
I'm always humble learning.
Regarding to the autopilot controller.
I have one autopilot greenhouse master controller look pretty much the same as the one you showed above. But it cost me 4xx to get it. I only use it for control burner, and my Mini spilt and dehu control by their own.
Do I actually need the "master" one?
For the controller setup you mentioned above, do you connect exhaust fan for the tent with controller. Exhausts fan kick it when it reach to highest point you set?
What's the lowest point you set to shut off exhaust?
My room is 82-83 when light on. 75 lights off
RH around 60-70%
I can't take RH that high so i didn't have room temp high like 90
Would like to know more about your veg setup. I heard mini spilt is best option for cooling he room. Since there is no air exchange for mini spilt. Also no gas for veg.
I wonder how is mini spilt work without using gas.
For last two weeks before chop,
When Cut off gas, with no air exchange for the room would be fine?
@Garygoodson i did though about under feed, but they drink water really quick. I afraid I was high temp in grow tent cause that. I heard when plants drink more, nute level should go less to prevent over feed plants. My EC is at 1.3 right now.
I heard if plants need more food EC will go lower. My EC is pretty stable, but oh rise really quick.
@whitebb2727
How do you see over water?
Yes I did see some fungas gnats in the medium. I did you h2o2 some of them die in the nutes when water drain back to res.
