BigSmo Inc. Cobs! I think he breed Citi's n Crees together to make some super mutant cob. ha!
:fire: Uh-oh, watch out Amare!!!
If I can muster up enough Power Scotty, I'll be throwing in an hps too for this one!
At a real lack of outlets this time & still not sure if I'm gonna do the whole electrician gig here cuz it's temp. N my ole-lady hates when I run cords all through the house! She like :cuss:ima kill you & your lil plants like a witch of Eastwick!
I will be testing soon a 1K hps vs @600w of straight cobs so we will see. You're in good hands with @Big smo. Can't wait to see your results.

Very nice setup and grow sir! I grew that flow outdoors a few years ago, it was a hit around these parts. Just harvesting my first run under an se450 with auto's. 6 plants in 4.5 x 4.5 3 Fastbuds gorilla glues and 3 C4's. Will definitely be way over a gram per watt of great quality meds.

Thanks! Awesome mang! This is the place to post pics & results or anything to do w/ Amare.
Whether you have a thread or not, all Amare fam. & cool peepz are welcome here. Never any NG's, haters or fakers here.
@Vato_504 , @Where am I , how you guys doing?!
I'd like to get all the Amare heads up in here this week to post updates.

Well, talked to Doug today (owner of SunCloak), he's making me another 32" set-up. He asked me for room dimensions. Thinking he may customize my blades to be wider or something. That would be mega cool. Running One side of my room w/ Cloaks & the other side w/ Amares.
This will be great for me n my plants. I'll run the taller, big stretchers in the Cloak & the shorter indicas under the Amares.
The room is about 14'x12'. Going to try to make it more manageable this time. Compared to my old hps room, which was wall-wall double trellised. I'd like to have an isle down the middle so I'm not crawling all the time.
Planning on probably going 5'x7' double trellis, then 5'x7' cages for the Amares. Most likely get some SS-150's or 260's to fill any gaps & for side-lighting. Really like those 260's allot. Allot of guys around this forum knock monos n diodes, calling them old inefficient tech. But that really just goes to show how little they know. They're just so caught up in Cob-Bobbing, they can't see the light! Literally. Diodes actually put out higher par #'s per watt then cobs. Quality of the light is just as good as cobs if not better in the panel as a whole seeing how diode panels are supplemented w/ colored monos. But so are Amares cob lights. In reference to cobs alone, I'd rather have diodes in some cases.
Yeah, for sure getting a few 260's. Gonna ask Victor if he has upgraded the diodes yet.
On the SunCloak side, I'm planning on running half that side w/ the blades 12"-16" apart & the other half @ 2' apart w/ BigSmo Cobs above. He's building 200w Citi's but I'll ask for x4, 30-40w Cree 3070's to go between each bay above. Don't need to add much. Just figured I'd grow some bigger plants in the Cloak this time.
Thinking about switching my nutrient line too. Everyone says why would I do that cuz I get such great results w/ the inexpensive line I've been using since day 1.
Well, I guess I just feel my bud lacks that lil extra uuummmfff in looks. I know House & Garden is one of the better nutes for all around plant health, color, n smell. Advanced to me seems to lack those things but is good for weight. This is what I gathered for an opinion based off my friends grows. But they're mostly commercially geared large opps so maybe not the best way to judge them. Gotta get em in my own hands to know for sure.
I was thinking about that Emerald Forest/Harvest stuff. A guy left AN & started that company. Dunno! There's so many different lines, how does one pick?
Any suggestions guys?
Whatever I go with, I'm going to run a side by side against my current TechNaFlora & supplementals.
Been using that Mammoth-P stink. Seems great. Plants looked to fill in more then usual. I've said it before, the Vitalize is the shit. Yeah, it's expensive but every bit worth it to me. The other one is Aptus's Facilitor. Which is even more $.
Gotta Flo in veg that's huge. Major bancher. Gonna throw it in the Cloak this time.
I like having these 2 different lights cuz they are both uniquely designed & suited well for my different strains. They allow me to make the most out of each.
There's NO other Amare or even close & there's NO other SunCloak or even close. Both perfect for me. Both with great owners & warranties. Both giving me higher quality & yields then I've ever gotten from my HPS & MH.
Good LEDs aren't cheap but they are necessary if you're looking to grow the best weed & do it efficiently.
How's everybody doing round here? You guys wanna post some pics & updates? That would be nice. Don't care what you grow with. I like all you guys & am interested in your grows.
Ok! Rambling over n out. Back to building the new room. Peace!

I run ebb and gro buckets under my leds. I ran veg+bloom and their bloom booster last run. I liked it because it's so simple. This run i have 2 different systems to run the VB in 1 and GH 3 part in the other to compare. Only thing I don't like about GH is the salt buildup but the plants liked it

For 3 years I had very good results using Hydroponic Research V + B ( a one part dry formula) , but I switched to EH for the previous flower, and this grow start to finish

I do have a pound of HR left and might use it up for vegging, then switch to EH Cali Pro Bloom 2part with their supplements Emerald Goddess/King Kola/Honey Chomb

You might also look at RAW nutrients and mix your own

I have spent a shit ton of time researching advanced and understanding all the active ingredients. They basically have the same things most others use but have fancier labels and divide up specific nutrients into different bottles. Any company smart enough to make the nutes themselves are smart enough to add in all the things our plants need. Some have higher or lower amounts of each specific thing. I don't buy into the expensive stuff.

So you use General Hydroponics. You don't use an entire line?
Yeah, I get salt build up to. But I feed with plain water every 3-4 feeds to rinse a lil. They like to get just water here n there. Between veg to flower I usually use ClearX in the 3 gall pot right before they go to the 7's. Then I start to switch the nutes over to flower. Wanna try SOS instead though.

Oh, you've been using Emerald Harvest! Thinking about switching to that myself.
I don't believe in the 2 part only nutes.
Tried that one CloneX makes. Forgot the name. Gave me tons of growth in one night but all mutated leaves.

Yeah, the line I use is inexpensive & I get better results then allot of my friends that use the real expensive stuff.
Maybe I'm trippin thinking I should switch.
If I do though, I'll have to run a comparison.
Was gonna use Heavy-16 last year cuz I already add some of their products now. I really like their Fire & Roots but I've recently dropped the Roots to use the TechNaFlora Root-66 cuz I have it. Heavy-16 is super expensive.
There's just so many lines. Can't risk using salts n stuff like that. To much on the line. I need a solid recipe & schedule.

Yea I just used the 3 part GH and was really impressed.

I really like the ease of VB as an all in one powder. Just mix and measure ppms that's it! I threw in their bloom too for fun. I'm also throwing in Mammoth P to test out too.

I might try the GH maxi lineup next too. A cheaper powder. Same with jacks.

I run ebb buckets so I find it easier to clean using the powders as opposed to the gunky liquids like Botanicare. Liquid karma was a mess to flush out

Just chopped my hermied, half cut, raped grow room. I'll get some pics soon. Evil these mephisto are no joke. Solid coating of resin, their description of dripping is fairly accurate. Really wish I could have grown a full plant out

i use jacks hydrophonics mix 5/12/26 and their calcium nitrate. 25 pound bags of each about 130 for both shipped. very cheap and great results http://www.jrpeters.com/who-are-you/hydroponics/shop-now.html
Thanks! This is great info.
Do you add it to an existing nute regimen?
How do you use yours too @sixstring2112?
I'm used to following a simple recipe then as I learned more I added & deducted using other products as supplements.
You guys use just the Jacks?
Simple n cheap hu!
Six, your plants are marvels!
