i'm not an electrician, i'd not be a cheap bastard and go buy a real fan, not a toy fan.
i thought you'd have a clue how to do this since you jumped into it with both feet, and would just need some general advice. sorry.

Well i could buy a real fan, but why since my goal is stealth and i have pretty small box for which 2 of those small fans is enough i think.

positioning shouldn't matter at all, and neither should the means you use to insulate the connections, as long as your not going to be getting them wet. they do have small pieces of shrink wrap at the local hardware very cheap, you could tape them then put some shrink wrap on it and make sure

A simple way to use power those small computer case fans, assuming you have a lot of spare usb cables laying around, is to just cut the non USB end of the cable off and cut the 4 pin connect on the cpu fan off then splice together (usually red to red, black to black). Sometimes there are other colors, apply deductive reasoning here. Plug into USB and bam, got a fan. Currently doing that with 2 fans in my grow.Now thats a helpful response. Thank you mate

Its all up in the air being so young. Ive had autos look like that then turn around and do good. Best thing u can do with autos is give them lots of light and start bloom nutes after she stretches. if u dont do that great try again after shes done. Ive done 5 grows now and everytime i get more yield and frost. Its all about hands on learning. With my budget lighting 180 watt ufo led and some 40 watt cfls i get 1-2 oz off an auto that finishes at 16-24 inches tall.

Anyway, i looked at your grow and i must say im impressed, youre doing a great job. Unfortunately, my grow is a lot smaller and stealthier so i cannot afford myself so huge plants (although the guy i bought my seeds from threw in an extra NL auto) so im thinking if this works im maybe gonna try that NL but with some serious lst or topping to make it fittable for a microgrow...anyway well see
Thats nice, for me anything above half an oz is nice cuz im running a stealthy micro operation for personal use and hobby
Heres an update in my grow, i posted a picture as an attachment. If youre wondering whats that blue string its just me trying out some preLST while the plant is still small... If anyone knows more about it or thinks its bad pls comment. Also, if you zoom in on the picture, on the first leaf next to the light on the left you can see small yellowish spots. That appeared a few days ago, can anyone also tell me about that pls? Thanks

Looks to be recovering good. I get pretty rough with them sometimes. My current grow is autos that I am training.
Yo guys! So heres another update. It has now been 45 days since gemination, but as u know ive wasted first 3 weeks of her life so it is now somewhat around 3 weeks maybe? What i find odd is despite its big bushiness i still dont sense any weed-like smell, just a regular plant smell, although i see some hairs growing which might be pistrils but we'll see. Anyway, photo is in the attachments, i would appreciate your comments.

Top it? Dude, everything i've read on RIU and other sites advises not to top an autoflower...i was thinking about lst method of tieing down but i think topping would really stress it out

oops, my bad, forgot we were talking about an auto, just finished the morning bowl...
