Thanks! This is great info.
Do you add it to an existing nute regimen?
How do you use yours too @sixstring2112?
I'm used to following a simple recipe then as I learned more I added & deducted using other products as supplements.
You guys use just the Jacks?
Simple n cheap hu!
Six, your plants are marvels!
nothing but jacks and promix, plus a lil ro water.i do use a tiny bit of photo plus about once a week till wk 6.jacks is the line AND the extras man,it really is that simple.1/2 tsp per gal in early veg ramp up to 1 tsp per gal till 2 weeks into flower then switch to the bloom same thing 1 tsp per gal every watering.now i will say i have had to add a lil calmag growing under the cobs but i think i fixed that by uping my ec to about 1.4-1.6 mid flower.seems to be working good on the la con, have not used calmag on that bitch yet and shes bout done being fed.

Six how do you like the hydro par meter? Hybrid do you buy one yet? Have the hydro in my Amazon cart and debating
the meter is being sent back, battery will not hold a charge more than about 4 or 5 hours, the meter works well, and hydrogalaxy has been real good to deal with on my return but i did use amazon so they got my back.

Ok then. I'm gonna give it a whirl. Awesomeness! Glad I mentioned my nute agenda! Sounds like I'm about to save some money too. You use the whole line?

You can't go wrong with jacks and if measuring powder becomes a pain (depends on your grow) I can throw a vote in for the one part Nova grow and bloom from GH and for the one part Ionic brand nutes as well. With the hard water ionic you can run tap easily as well and save on the waste of R/O not sure what your source water is like but my tap has alleviated my need for cal mag because of the hard water. We will see under the COB's now.

Just my $0.02

I'm on it like a hornet. I trust you & Zeps opinions & have seen your plants. I'm bout it bout it boooyy!!!:hump:
zeps mix is for coco, the stuff i posted is for peat based soil n such.very different mixes just so you know. and i will second @Evil-Mobo on the ionic being the whip for an easy 2 part from bottles if you like using liquids better.but not nearly as cheap as the jacks

i use jacks hydro 5/12/26 and cal nitrate measured to 650ppm or 1.2 ec from clone to finish nothing else and no flush.been doing it for a year and a half full time.i started on the second 2 bags about 2 months ago.pennies per gallon! always do the jacks first then the calcium nitrate!there is alot of info on it on icmag.some strains show a mag deficiency in veg and i just do a few epsom salt folier feeding and all good.i am running a ppk hybrid hydro system.i used the same mix with good results in pro mix bx before i switched to the ppk in all my set ups.some people run at a slightly higher ppm or ec on the strains that start showing the mag deficiency but i just do the folier feeding with epsom.

This is great news. I almost can't fathom it being that simple. I'm used to mixing all types of shit but see guys doing just as good with something like Jacks.
I don't Know about Ionic though. A few yrs. ago I tried it. First feed they grew allot but it was mutated. Funny single leaves all twisted up.
Been doing good w/ my TechNaFlora but am gonna give this Jacks a shot. You guys certainly do well w/ it.
Got the e-mail w/ tracking # today! Oh yeah baby! Pro-9 is on the way! Better get my grow shades out, bout to get real bright up in here!
Gonna take me awhile to get set-up. Still moving & have to build the room. Even though it's temp. Still tons of work.
I'll try to get the mapping done though. I'm sure allot of people are interested to see that.
I'll be starting a new thread for the next grow & a separate one for the Pro-9 & other Amares PPFD mapping.

My fear, preventing me from using cheap nutes (like Jacks) is, not knowing what is the quality the elements used (where they are sourced). My company formulates our own pet health products, buying the individual ingredients (vitamins/minerals/enzymes...) I can tell you the quality varies tremendously (generally speaking, the better the quality, the higher the cost), and one has to know what the difference. Choose Wisely

IF the elements/ingredients re not top shelf they could affect the quality on a cellular level, which may not be detected with the eye

No led calmag issues with jacks? I'm sure it's in there but what about adding more?
missed this one,no calmag issues and those 2 im using dont have calcium in it.once in a while i will need a few doses of calmag on new plants from seed but its usually from under feeding and once i get it dialed its just the jacks.but i have been using the same bottle of calmag for about 2 years now so i dont bust it out very often .
@Hybridway if your in soil you dont need the calcium nitrate,if your in coco the jacks hydro 5-12-26 and cal-nit is the way to go.you can always add any of your favorite bloom boosters during flower but i been down that road and the jacks alone does best for me

jr peters(jacks) has been making plant food for vegtables for a very long time.its just salts.at the end of the day the plant breaks down everything we put in and turns alot of it into other things,to use as it needs it.sure you dont want a bunch of poison going into your soil.but then again you might not eat hotdog buns if you knew how that bread was made, never mind the hotdog lol

I eat organically as much as possible. I only eat in a few family owned restaurants (no corporate dung holes)
