Do pink hairs, purple buds mean anything?

Some of the hairs on my plant are a little pink. Also the buds on the lower branches are purple, the buds on the top are green. You cant see the pink hairs in the pics the light blocks it out, but how old do these plants look into flower stage? I lost count I know its around 4 weeks though.
286 watt cfl grow.

cold night temperature. if the night temp drops by 15 degrees or something then the buds turn purple in some strains. probably also whats going on with your pink pistols

I was thinking about that but won't I have to buy a lot of led's since they have low watts?

There are a few different styles to choose from. Many leds have lower watts but more light.

it could be genetics, it could be low temps at night,could be both. i don't think its indicative of anything bad, but i'm not positive.

not as long as you don't over do it, too much can slow down growth, stunt root growth, but that usually takes more than it takes to get colors to come out

I got this strain called patron from lakeshore genetics . the pic on the site is purple. I want my shit to be purple. what should I do ?

Its not about how cold it gets. I regularly have plants live through several frost with no problem. Its all about how fast they warm up and keeping the root zone insulated and warm. Indoors I wouldn't let them get below 60.
