I'm sold on LED, so much so that I'm getting rid of all of my remaining HID lamps in bloom and most in veg. What's left will be T5 over babies, and maybe not even that.

I get better specific output (grams per watt per day), better quality, better reliability, lower maintenance costs and less power consumption from lighting and associated HVAC. I'm pretty sure commercial facilities would enjoy those benefits, too.

And the notion that LED tech isn't scalable to handle those commercial facilities is just laughable; in fact many commercial facilities are installing them now. Here in Colorado, there is serious talk of outlawing HPS for grow lighting outright, phased in over the next 3-5 years. Serious talk.

Increase your amperage. I'll bet that'll work fine. How long did you let it go for? Did you wait for the swell? If I can yield 3-4 ounces of fat, dense nugs with "450w" (206w) Chinese LED panels that had great penetration with only 3 weeks in veg from seed, I know I can do better with these COBs.

What plant did you yield 3-4 ounces from? Is there a pic of that dried?

Yes, I have a pic of part of each, together making around 2-3 ounces dry somewhere, and it was the two I was growing when you started shit with me. The pics should be somewhere in my journal. And my very first plant, just one under a 500w bloom Blackstar as well as a 240 veg BlackStar, I yielded 3.8. I owed a dealer, so I had that dude weigh it out.

Here's the HSO Lemon Garlic OG from my current grow, about 5 weeks in veg at the moment. It's got 48-50 tops altogether (some Toppings during the mainlining process led to FIM results). Grown under my Tasty T1s, together with my CTF from @RM3, using only 178w for both:




Still getting those capitate-sessile trichomes in veg.

3.8 was the first one, which is way in the back of the journal. That thing had 4 donkey dick colas and was 4 feet tall, with equally tall center-facing branches. That one there is somewhere between 2-3 ounces, it just isn't all in the pictures because I owed 3 people weed.

This next run, I suspect, will be a really good one. I'm pretty sure of it.
