My current veg run is my best ever and I'm using new lights/tech and new medium (no till). I have bugged you and a few other guys here in PM and your threads and taken a little bit from everyone and come to what I feel is what is working best "for me". My spin on it is going the no till route but with the ideas and methods of you guys that have exp growing big plants under 1K HPS.

I have said it privately to another member on here and I will mention it here, I do not think it's a coincidence that the successful "bigger than closet" grows on here with COB's have been and are being grown by guys who come from the big lights big plants mindset.

I just really think we do not have a handle 100% yet as a community as to how hard we can push these plants with COB's, BUT, this requires more food for the girls. They feed more aggressive as is just from switching to COB, so imagine switching then pushing? This is my thinking anyways.

I need some shit to sell so I can order that light because half my flower tent is dark lol......

I can't wait to get into flower n start another thread. Not being in flower kills me. Especially now that I have my dream light Pro-9 I haven't even plugged in yet.
Gotta get this room up this week. Then I'll be getting another Cloak.
The plan is to have 1/2 the room SunCloak n the other 1/2 Amare. After the first run I'll be able to finish buying lights for this room. It's only temporary though so I'll be half way there once it's done. Then it's time to get the Warehouse going. Man, I love growing.
As much as I loved being a contractor & the $$$ was good, I don't miss it.
Nothing beats the feeling of a good bountiful harvest. As far as works concerned anyways.

PM sucks balls. I had it for the first time ever last hps run. It was a constant battle to hold it back. My new place seams to have it which is real discouraging. Makes me not even want to build.
I found spraying them prior to flower w/ a product called Organicide prevents it from coming back for about a month. Then if it does, I use another product called PM made by the same guys that make MightyWash. Pretty sure it's just frequency separated water w/ an added saturant. Ingredients say 99.9% water so it's ok for flowers.
Because it's in my new grow area I bought an ozone generator. Hoping that does the trick.
PM is the worst.
Yeah, hps bud appears to be bigger but the GPW & quality is better w/ my LEDs. Although I really can't say for sure hps buds are bigger cuz I've yet to grow a plant w/ 600w equivalence which is what I grew each plant with in the hps room. I do however believe the IR is what makes hps weed so big.
Made the switch though. Running all led now.

have to be careful with ozone.too much is not good for your plants.
i bought a powerful ozone generator and my plants did not like it.i have a small one in the room now and have 2 dehumidifiers and raised my temps ups to 75 to 81 in the room.looking good or so my patient who is tending them told me.i will see on wed when i get home.

Hey man try this stuff out works goods for pm and its organic its called Green Cure Fungicide you take a tsp for mild and Tbs for bad situation. This stuff works man I highly recommend it.

Yup, that stuff works great when you have PM & only in veg. It's not a preventative & cannot be used on flowers after week 3 from what I know. I have it in my arsenal.

Geeze Luis, expensive stuff there. Do you know anyone that's used it? I wonder if it works on PM.

Bro it lasts a long ways trust me I use it. My garden has been bug and PM free since I started spraying this as a preventative. HSO sprays this on their farm good enough for me. Lol............

Rooms going good, should be done by Sun. I hope. Damn, it's allota work.

Plants are feindin to get into flower. The Ace of Spades plant has been budding for the past month n half. Afraid it might hermie cuz it needs to flower so bad. Gonna have to keep a close eye on her once under way.
They're stretching big time with minimum light keeping them going.

im using botanicare and calimagic since the mag is derived from 2 separate things. Who knows maybe the plants like one more than another. Yes 3tsp is nuts, the grow shop owner was in shock at the current photos as he has been growing forever and never came across anything like it. Green as can be, leaves are sticking straight up. Zoom in on the pic and you can see how happy they seem. I'll lower it down till I see issues again so I understand exactly what they want without going to heavy. View attachment 3823573

Thanks for the tips on the cal mag I upped my cal mag from one to four teaspoons and my new growth is coming in nice and dark green

Stephen from Johnson posted a challenge saying his light can beat an Amare in the sphere. Vic & I accepted. Let's see what happens from here.
GG (Plc) ran for the hills when I challenged him.
This time Stephen challenged me & Amare for pink slips/lamps. Winner takes the lamp. Guess I'll own an all cob light to do a side by side after all. :hump::hug::bigjoint:
