Am I asking too much out of this gavita?

happy 420 everyone I'm having some issues with my Scrog set up.
I'm running 12 5gals under my 1150, when I go to put my 5.5x6 net I can see it's pretty crowded.
I need some advance should I lower the number of pots? or should I have made my net bigger?
Some details they are almost 1.6 months old, in side coco/perlite
I have done some training on them but not too hard.
Thank you for any input!

How the heck are you going to service all those plants under one screen is what I want to know.

Four plants would fill up the screen if you veg longer and be a lot easier to deal with. Maybe you should just keep training them and flower the whole lot out without the screen but you'll end up needing support for colas of some kind. Bamboo stakes come to mind as a cheap and easy way. I just bought 3 - 20piece bundles of 6 footers for future grows.

I just set up my four girls in a vertical/horizontal ScroG with new pics in my grow log and am using a light mover to cover it better with 2 - 400W HPS in a single hood with a 150W in the back for extra lumens tho I don't think I really need it but it may help while the stretch is going on.

thanks for the reply! as for the screen issue im making 4- 5x6 screens to fill the space, its gonna be a little tight but i can fix underneath and do my work when needed. so its not one big scrog net just small ones divided out. right now im debating if i should just add another light...
Goodluck on your scrog set up!

The main problem I'm having right now is some of the plants are too wide within the space of the net. if i were to stop training the pla

hey there! currently doing 4 lights what are your thoughts on this?
I guess my issue is what's your issue you title suggests your not happy with the gravita however you don't state that. How many plants per light judging from what I see I woul think 6 would be more beneficial.

Im sorry I confused you by not being clear! My issues are I have about 50 plants under 4 1000watt lights and right now with 12 under a light its not that bad but as soon as i put my 5x6 scrog net over it it begins to get really crowded, Im just wondering if i should split some plants up? ( i'm aiming for 4+ oz a plant) Or should i just run more lights? Or maybe the advice above about forgetting the net all together?

I dont think i have enough space to do 6 per light, i was thinking more like 9ish? But im just worried about how the number of plants might affect my yield.

Thanks for any input!

I was saying you should use at least 6 lights rather than four. Fifty plants to four thousand watts is stretching it a bit. You should be able to get four ounces at least depending on the strain. I pull at least 6 to 8 from my plants sometimes more sometimes less as I said all strain dependent.

6-8 oz! Nice yield mind I if ask about your set up?
and how many plants you run per light?

You should have probably flipped it sooner. If you're having this much trouble in veg with the nets at this point, flowering stretch is going to wreck your face.
Its really not much trouble i just overlooked how wide these plants were going to become, this is my first scrog so im just dipping my feet in for now.

Have you ever flowered a plant yet, though? Those things are going to double or triple in size. I'm not trying to condescend, I'm just saying. They're presenting a challenge as it is, with their size.

No offense taken, and yes i have flowered before but not any trained plants.
and when they do double up isnt that where the net comes in to even it all out?

Right, it helps spread the branches out. Problem is, that's a fuckton of branches. I just hope the resistance doesn't overpower the SCROG. I believe you're supposed to SCROG it while it's growing, even in veg.

Definitely loving the size of yours, though.

I like to mainline. I've only SCROG'd in the medium-sized side project I co-operate with a family member. Here's my Lemon Garlic OG, chillin'.
