Best time to start Nutes for Seedlings?

Hey guys,

Wanted to see when I should start giving these little guys some nutrients. They are Jack Herer Autos and just got their first leaves 2 days ago and are in a coco coir perlite mix. I am using fox farms dirty dozen for nutrients and have them in 2 gallon smart pots.

Any advice would be much appreciated! Thank you.

Yep. When they run out I'm just going to use the MaxiBloom.
Hate to hijack someone else's thread but I ran Lucas for many years and now use General Organics instead with 10x better results and no hassle of stupid ph'ing! It's tits man. Grab a GO box and I bet you won't.go back to salt ferts..:bigjoint:

It's the same thing. GH has dissolved the salts for you is the only difference.

Whoever told you has you duped. Not even close. I had to use Bio Ag TM7 to keep some plants from locking out with Lucas formula. I only use silica, and Mammoth additives now with the GO line. I've tried Nectar, AN, Cyco, GH ect and am getting ready to start Veg/Bloom Dirty to see the comparison but I can guarantee you that the GO line will produce a much better product without a flush needed, than the Lucas formula will. I know because I used Lucas for 5 years before switching. Just trying to help a guy save some time and effort...

I don't buy into the nute hype. When you look at it all at the chemical level, there is very little difference. I've used GH Flora Trio for years in all kinds of ratios as well as plain old MaxiBloom salts. I get the best results from both in the Lucas ratio growing in 1-to-1 coco to perlite. MaxiBloom is just way cheaper for the same stuff.

But back to the topic, I feed my coco before I even sow the seed. I don't believe in waiting for problems to develop before feeding. As long as you keep it at 1/4 strength you won't burn the seedlings. Maybe not true for plain soil but I have little experience with soil grows.

Did you notice different results with the different light schedules? Or was it about the same. How do you like outdoor compared to indoor?
indoor is easier to control with bugs and humidity and stuff the plants love the outdoor sun tho no indoor lights iv seen even come close to compareing to the sun
