While it requires refining a bit and exposes the environment and the individual refining it to toxic fumes, wheel weights are a real cheap source of lead. They need to be mixed with better/harder lead but cut cost of production considerably.
In my county the wheelwright sources dried right up. They wouldn't even sell them to me; some horseshite about working with recyclers. I got yer recycling right HERE (grabs lower receiver)

If you reload there are still several places that sell reasonable priced bullets. Midway has sales constantly for various calibers. Powder Valley has reasonable prices on powder and primers.

Look into boolits. Much cheaper, and if you're looking at dialing in your loads, boolits are better. You can get pretty much the same gr weights as you would with factory bullets. My Dillon XL650 handles boolits just as well.

And by lower receiver, you were to say, penis and testicles?

Please describe to us in great detail how you grasp your genitalia with such vigor. Please try to use words like erection and purple bulbousness.

;)

Yah but with home casting I can adapt bullet to bore. My Smiths like a looser slug than my Freedoms.

Omg I threw away a 505 grain .452 wadcutter mold for my big .45. Idiot
It was written up in a Gun Digest. I contacted the moldmaker as he was retiring. Boy did I spike that one right into the referee.

I use a firm yet circumspect grasp between the front and rear pins ...

and rotate with abandon

Many will not ship to California already. I expect the number of non shippers to increase exponentially. Good thing Nevada and Arizona are less than a half days drive.

I have lived here over a decade in the past and fuck that state.

Arizona...http://norml.org/laws/item/arizona-penalties

The rest of these no idea what they are like, but their laws are way better than AZ.

Alaska....http://norml.org/laws/item/alaska-penalties

Washington.....http://norml.org/laws/item/washington-penalties-2

Oregon....http://norml.org/laws/item/oregon-penalties-2
Well I look at this way...

Arizona, I currently live in that state. I own tons of guns and I can grow the reefer without state penalty.
Alaska, a free gun state and a free pot state.
Washington, a gun tolerant state and a free pot state.
Oregon, a gun tolerant state and a free pot state.

And I suppose you can add Colorado in that mix.

But you'll get no argument from me when talking federal laws. We all know where that is.
