no, a dark period will initiate flowering. whomever said that does not have your plants best interest at heart
...its in the grow bible, or its bullshit for you

You keep talking about grow bible as If the grow bible is the no all be all of growing. You realize that book is an ok starting point 25 years ago there have been quite a few innovations in growing since then. There are a few fallacies in there.

yep, but NONE of those fallacies are responsible for the ridiculous notions I read here every day. I notice posters with issues get them from the advice given, assuming from the new innovations. lol
reading is key. If someone spends a thousand bucks on their grow, and wont read a 20 dollar book to do it right....dnt know what to say.

I have read that book, I find one fallacy in there. I spoke to jorge and he has since corrected the falsity decades ago. yet, I still see folks here using pseudo tenchniques to change up seed chromosomes after they're set in stone. I'm guessing those growers are still stuck on that one fallacy from the b
will you show me the other fallacies you know of, embarrassed if i missed.

I modeled my whole garden with that book. never had mites, no plant issues, no deaths, no fires, no sparks, no blown fuses, no strange harvests, no nutrient problems, no RH issues, no temp fluctuations, plants finish on time every time since 2008 .
I wish the new innovations taught readers how to do that. is not my only book, its not the best either, or the most interesting, but it is a great reference to avoid all of these aforementioned issues.

Not trying to argue about but Ive grown for quite a while aswell with no major problems and my goto book is Principles of Horticulture. Great book imho. I agree reading is very important just disagree on author.

iv had plants tipped out of pots and more then 3/4 eaten by a rabbit and still survive give it weaker lighting for a week and a good root builder fert like seaweed solution should bounce back

Sounds like cannabis...it's a tough ass plant. Although I know some strains are way way more susceptible to stress than others.

nah, me neither , I like you.
I've got a stack of horticulture books too some mj some not. But lets face it, handing the PoH book to new growers trying to figure out basics like, feed, lighting principals etc.....simple to read might be key=grow bible is as simple as they come imo
I wouldnt say jorge is the best one, or even in the running with the pro's, but he compiled it stoner style, kiss, with glossy pics and water resistant paper lol. I heard someone say th only thing they did was look at the pics for a good grow! lol

I've never seen this happen from taking cuttings from a plant. If you look around this site you'll see plants that have been savagely raped and didn't look like that. I didn't see your grow method in the thread, it's fairly important to find the problem. If you're doing some form of hydro I'd take a look at your roots if possible.
