All boards shipped since last week are tested at around 700mA for 3-5 seconds and a test Vf is written on boards.
For orders with multiple boards it is best to group and use +/- 0.1Vf boards together if you wire them in parallel circuit.
For series or single driver per board this is not important.

Board voltage does not need to be Exactly same. .1/110 is like 0.09% Tolerance

If you re-order boards to mount them in parallel with some old boards you bought, give me this number in checkout notes so i can give you boards with similar voltage.

I am going to use them in my Raptor hoods. 6 per hood. I have been looking to convert them for a while to cobs but the weight and angle of the hoods at the edges always created a issue for me when planning it out.

These low profile boards solved that issue fairly quickly. Just need to prove they work now as good or better than a hortilux 1000w. I am worried about penetration. We shall see soon.

The problem for me would be damage to the plant. If running 75 watts and a board opens then it may be a problem if run close to the canopy. The more boards less of a concern. 8 at 75 watts should last until I'm gone. I'm old. And yes the 3590's are getting their butt kicked.

If it's any help my autos are over a foot talll and green to the bottom. Lots of buds forming, again all the way to the bottom. No leaves turning asking for more light or anything. Playing with my super expensive Burpie 3 in 1 light meter "I know lol" I noticed a big jump when the door panel was closed vs open. I have no idea how they will preform in a open space though ? My verdict for what little it counts is these are the real deal and I bet as more people get some complete grows with them they will be a normal sight in grow journals. I'm starting a Papaya indica from sprout , photo period grow that I'm journaling as my autos started under a Mars light.

so do we think the entire board would fail or would just some of the board fail? if an LED burned out, or a row of them, would it turn the entire board off?

Thanks for the info. I don't adjust the height of my hoods I used to but it's to much fussing around. I just have them as high as they can go on a 8ft cieling. I guess that is my curiosity on how this will change anything with these boards vs 1000w hps

so based on this, i would think that one board failing and then a catastrophic chain reaction burning out all the boards would not be an actual problem.

You would see a row of lights burned out, then it would be a sign that its time to order a new light board. Or crack out a soldering iron and make the situation worse, then order a new board.
