Whether or not one concludes that Trump’s business dealings violate the letter or the spirit of the Emoluments Clause, the underlying controversy is almost certainly non-justiciable.

Not going to happen with this congress. Ryan is in the driver's seat now. Trump violated the constitution within minutes of taking the oath. But Congress has to take action. Very much the advantage goes to Congress. No impeachment without action by Congress and so, Trump's nut is in the jaws of a vise. Ryan and McConnel hold the crank on the vise. This is really fucked up.

it would only take a few republicans to cross the isle & join the dems & call for impeachment

And end their careers forever, I think this unlikely but that's just my opinion. The Republican party doesn't care about facts. Trump would have to make the same mistake that Nixon did and threaten congressmen with his dirty tricks and blackmail. Watergate never would have caused Dick's downfall if he hadn't been using undue influence behind closed doors. The GOP is so corrupt that they don't care if their president makes money hand over fist from his corrupt actions. They will if he starts to threaten them like Dick did. IMO.

Trumps gonna do so much good for America and its people in the next two years that it will further energize the silent deplorable working middle class. Democrats will look back, again, and wish they had only lost 1000 seats of government.

If the best we can do is put Hillary and Donald front and center that's a sad commentary of our current political situation.
That needs to change.
Otherwise we remain divided by infighting.
