Im in the process of harvesting my first grow. I grew 5 plants total, 2 "Nurple" (both male), 2 Oasis (females), and one PPP (female)
I waited too long to clone mainly bcuz of financial reasons but now that I've got everything under control I plan on revegging my best female which was the PPP plant in order to use her as a mother and take clones from her. I will use this journal to document my progress. I need everyones help on this one since there arent many how-to's on the net about re-vegging.
Here she is prior harvest:
since then I have read a few FAQ's on re-vegging.What I've learned is that you need to:
1.)Harvest the top 2/3 of the plant, leaving the bottom 1/3 in tact
2.)Cut the rootball down to a smaller mass
3.)Re-pot the plant into fresh soil
4.)cut the plant down to just above the bottom node
5.)The plant is to be on a 24/0 light cycle for the first two weeks, then lights will be cut back to 18/6.
I will still be using my CFL's to reveg, the plant is currently under 6 26w CFL's, hopefully by the time I take clones I will have my HID.
My plan is to feed the plant as normal, I'll start feedings with plain water from the humidifier (which is pretty high in N and P) until the plant looks as if it is hungry, then I'll begin feeding at 1/4 strength and get progressively stronger each week, using my miracle gro (15-30-15) ferts.
I'll be back to post update pics with progress.
I really need the help of you experienced growers on this one, Im counting on you
