Nuggz did your plant do better the first time you harvested or after reveg? Also I have no choice but to let the sun reveg it : (

Burton, I have read alot about trimming the roots, but wouldnt this stress the plant severely? Could someone maybe post some pictures of how to correctly do this? And how much would you trim? Seems a bit hard to just guess. But I guess trimming any would be better then trimming none huh?

Hey Major Nuggz, Now that's what I'm talking about! U rocking with those reveg's that's exactly how mine looks, I have 2 more reveggin now, that will definetly be heavy hitters, like yours! Belive it.. I'm going to hang on to them for a while as bonsai donners, so I'll always have a aboundance of supply. Won't flower her again. It great to see others experiementing too. It awesome to watch them come back to life.

Jackinthebox, You would go by the size of the plant and pot. i.e. IF your currently in a 3-5 gallon, you'll need to trim the plant entirely in half by doing this, you basically gently break the root system in half, no it doesn't stress the plant, then with half the rootball still in your hand, you put it ontop of the new soil with a layer of earthworm castings (nitrogen) and gently put the top of the plant into a 1 gallon pot, don't water! she's already has a look stored in her remaining stems! 1 week later give a full watering of 20-20-20. Resume 1 week later, and so on. There's no stressing cause the plant hasn't had time to have a down period....

It's easy to do, and you'll love the results. I listened to a lot of horror stories about reveggin, but just wanted to see for myself. It work out better than I could've imagined. Try it! Make sure that you don't water for atleast 1 week. And fresh soil is a must, don't try using the same soil, to heavy with nute residue.

I reuse at least 80% of my soils..I live in the south..it rains once a day for 20 minutes..leave my dirt in pots outside in the rain for a couple weeks..(flushing naturally... 1:5 perlite 1:5 compost..full strength trace elements ..1/8 to a 1/4 strength big grow for seeds and starts, leaving just a hint of nutes in your soil

why shouldnt you water for a week?

Plenty of water is still stored in the branches and root system, It will give her a chance to dry out better if you wait 1 week. These are two females that were just harvested 2 weeks ago, and look at them both plants dried 2oz's each. Already green and lushous, will make excellent clone mothers for life... Just keep the roots trimmed and top prunned by taking upper growth/shoots for clones as they grow out.

What Im confused about is how my plant will go from one shoot here and there to what appears to be a full blown plant ready to bloom again. It doesnt seem like Im getting the development I was hoping for. The most I can do with this plant at the moment is cut about 6 or 7 clones from it and hope they are ready to flower 15 days from now (just bcuz by that time my younger plants will be 30 days into veg, and since I dont have much lighting I'd rather flower them smaller so the light can penetrate the canopy. Im going to go get some rooting hormone today, any recommendations?

Ive got some pics of the latest developmet, I need U guys help to see if these growth shoots are mature enough to cut and clone now, or if I should wait a little while longer.

those sites are the 2 major developments Ive had over the last few days, nothing really major but its still some progress. I finally got an HID, it wont put out much, but it'll do the job. Its a 70W HPS, 7000 lumens. I plan on using that in addition to the 220+Watts of CFL's I have in there during flowering.:hump: :hump: :hump:

I am clonning myself.
Great pics.

Glad to see the reveg info.
Looks like nugz got great results and seems like you are on your way to great results.

U need to give it more time, It's a slow start at first. Patience. Do you have it under 24/7? That speeds up the process a little quicker. If not then, the daylight hours are long enough to put her outside and let her get natural sunlight if you don't have the space and lighting inside. Mine took aproximately 4 weeks to get like this under 24/7 floro's 1x 125watts and 2x 65watts... Now she's in flowering looking like this... If u have other things going on where u'r not sweating her, then let her be and she'll do her thing. Believe me this plant was completely stripped down to bare branches and came back to look like this, it blew me away, cause she was smaller than what u'r dealing with. Much smaller.... :O) Before she went back into flowering I took 20 clones off of her and she's still at 2ft right now in flowering, finishing her 3rd week. Patience....

lol..I had just put some rooting powder in a container and was getting ready to take a cut, then I came back and read VB's post and put everything back up.

What would happen if I took a cutting this soon? would it still take root? I havent seen any new 5 bladed leaves in a long time from this plant, should I wait until I see them to take cuttings?

Thanks for all ur help

I am not the clone expert, but I would think you would want to take a clone when the plant is 100% in veg mode... producing the 5 bladed leaves.

Agree/disagree?

Only one real way to find out. Just try it. I'm sure the longer you wait the more the likelihood of success

^^Ok, this post was a lie..well a half-lie..^^

I DID put everything up that day after reading VB's post... but later on that night I got kinda anxious and I took a cutting off of one of the new growth shoots as a test to see what would happen...but its OK..the next evening I took a look and this is what I saw...

and this is what it looks like today

I was so excited that my first clone had taken root in about 24hrs that I took 4 more!!

and this is how you REALLY do it in da ghetto... since I dont have a sprayer bottle I had to be creative with how I spray'd my plants to keep the humidity high...so I was gettin ready to go to this hotel party my sister was throwing and decided to iron my pants..then it struck me!

:blsmoke: :peace:
