Anything over $5 per clone is over priced, regardless where it comes from. Unless we are talking an elite cut..

Unfortunately in smaller and remote cities you will be lucky to score a clone of average genetics for under $20, you are better off buying seeds some places.

Maybe it's just where I am here in Alberta, the local head shop sells seeds. Lots of strains.

Where in this document did you find where to buy starting material? Maybe I'm stupid but I couldn't find it. I did see you can't grow indoors and outdoor at the same time and that kinda sucks...

5-30$ here. If you buy one. You pay alot. The legal market is so small its not allowing for lower prices. I don;t know in my area where to legally get a clone.
To answer the OPS question,
YES you can grow if you get your license which takes a few months. You can choose if you want starting materials or not simply put. This is from the book. You can or you can not. Its up TO YOU. Its a simple pdf form. You can find it by google.
Seeds are easy. 420kingston shipped fast and easy from Toronto.
I don't use other peoples plants so I don't know about clones.

You should read the application to grow a little closer. You can grow all indoors, all outdoors or a mixture of both. There is nothing in it about where to buy starting materials just if you want to or not. I'm not sure what they do if you answer yes to that but I think they make you pick a single LP to buy your pot or clones from and only a few of them offer overpriced clones for sale.

I did read the application, but the legislation is the legal document where all the details are. In said legal document I couldn't find where it says anything about home growers obtaining seeds, from an LP or otherwise.You should read the application to grow a little closer. If you read in the actual application for home growing to Hellth Canada referring to A3. Production Area, you will note you can select Indoor, Outdoor or a Combination of both.

Not the way I interpret it but I'm not a pot lawyer. If you take the "both" option I would grow enough to be be legal once some plants were outside and some were inside to keep the legal limits.
I already have way more plants sprouted than what I would be legal for even if I wanted to give the gov't my name for their hit list. My 8g/day doctor's paper is all I need to go nuts and hope for the best should I get busted. Fuck the gov't!

I have had this licence for several years now....it can be tricky to do more than 1 crop indoor in the off season from the outdoor crop.
otherwise it will overlap.
The choice of indoor /outdoor is a good one for a couple of reasons.
if you have a crop failure not all your eggs in one basket sorta thing.
A bad or short summer or wet season can be offset with a nice indoor winter grow.

Is that the new ACMPR or the old MMAR?
We should get this thread back on topic, can anyone quote from the ACMPR legislation something that says we do or do not have to use LPs to obtain seeds? That way it's black and white and we can put this thread to rest.
