DIY with Quantum Boards

i don't understand, are those 304 led's in series? if so wouldn't the total forward voltage be 836v? the obvious response is those are series led's in parallel but do you have fuses for safety? what happens if one of those strips burns out? maybe i'm ignoring something obvious if so i apologize for the stupid question

So say you're running the board 700 ma. You lose one of your 8 rows, each row driven at about 90 ma, sudenly you have 90 ma to distribute across your array. Now instead of driving each row at 90 ma, they're each driven at about 97 ma (might be wrong here, mental math ya know). That's not a very big deal. Even at max board power the diodes still have a lot of room to keep thermal runaway from happening. Also, thermal runaway is mad unlikely considering you have 28 diodes in each series string, making it very unlikely that ALL of them would experience thermal runaway.

Don't worry about it, Robin and Stephen aren't idiots, they built these things such that they most likely will not light on fire.

All lights pay for themselves, but it's a special light that pays for itself in power savings alone!
Dude. This is top secret. But, I will clue you up. The lights we use are inductive LED with 20 times the intensity of the hardest driven COB. Our biggest challenge is staking up the weight of the stems during the final weeks of flower. And the technology is still young.

Imagine inside your stocking in 2018 you get a gram of weed that is so potent you won't need more til 2019?

Be patent and trademark free. Coming to a theatre near you soon. Don't worry. This is non-profit peace and love technology. FREE! It's all around us. This love. I will share when it is time. ALMOST FREE! But the cost really is inconsequential tho. The marketers don't want you to know.

does it produce more energy than it consumes? if so sign me up

OK. A little taste.

Imagine that perpetual motion machine driving 450 watts free. Forever! Yeah man. The tech over the horizon is amazing. And. Free

I'll post pics at some point later in time. They will be other worldly. :-)

What are the dimensions of the boards that fit the 2 panels?
For lighting a 4x4 tent, wondering if it would be best with 2 doubled pannels or 4 singles...

Would these be sufficient as the only light source. Canopy penetration?
what would the weight of these units be, would a tent roof support them?

The drivers are the biggest weight...... 2 2 bars would work really well. If you wanted even more flexibility of course 4 septate panels but I don't feel it's necessary honestly.

Do you guys think QBs trump COBS now? Or are they just for smaller spaces to maximize headroom and still punish canopies?
Spectrum is just as good, they're even more efficient than COB LED at a given drive current, produce better distributed illumination and they generate less undesirable heat.

So I'm thinking they're better than COB unless you physically don't have the space for them.
