2ft 16 bulb t5 ho grow.

Im starting this about 2 weeks into flower. 16 days to be exact. Well 16 days for 2. We shall call them A and B. C has been in there for about 8 days now. She joined the party alittle late. And a lot smaller. They are in some local soil mixed with perlite. I feed them using jobes organic tomato fert. Smells like shit. Ladies seem to love it.
This is my 3rd grow. Ive learned from the previous two. Made use of the second grow by making seeds. After running into problems. This grow actually started with nothing but problems and is actually about a month behind. Plant c should have vegged longer while A & B were flowering. But I would have ran out of room if I waited.
Pic#1 is plant A most recent picture. AKA Main Chick.
Pic#2 is plant B most recent. Trying to catch up to main.
Pic#3 is plant C. Most rect. Mostly just the top. She stretched out to catch up with the main chick.

what kind of bulbs did you get for your t5 im leaning to the phillips with 1 hortolux powerveg with uv. I dont want to spend 30 bucks a bulb xD

I ordered some 2700k and 6000k ho bulbs off of amazon. I plan on experimenting with some better bulbs. Like the coral t5 bulbs. Which are a few bucks a bulb. @ 16 bulbs that would be over the price of a decent led. Soooo i have yet to jump on either one yet. I want to order a few nicer bulbs to mix in with the current lights to see if i notice a difference. Some true blue and red spectrum.

I myself am using two panels 8 bulbs 4 ft T5. I have a mixture of 4 red and 4 blue on each panel. The 16 bulb total really does better than most people would be willing to believe. I like the t5s because its easy to controll your environment. I have a 4x8 tent and right now im at 6 weeks. Those pics look great man have a t5 HO 4bulb i am waiting on my hotorlux +uv bulb to get here tomorrow to set it up do you just use happy frog soil straight or do you mix? I want to do a soil grow for comparision vs dwc but i only wana get 1 bag of soil not 4 and mix them xD i was going to get a bag of roots but pretty expensive right now.(remember i have to buy most stuff on amazon not driving 300+ miles to get stuff lol)

I actually use happy frog and I cut it with perlite.. I use a lot of perlite to help with drainage. I actually used to mix hydroton Rock In with my soil and perlite .. Good draining soil means no root rot.. You want your soil to dry out somewhat fast. I hate not being able to water because the soil is too damp. Using t5 bulbs in my opinion makes optimal drainage a must. Soil is very forgiving especially when you have your own soil prep teqnique. I think you'll like the soil grow. Good luck. I'm sure you'll do a good job. make sure you ph. With happy frog.. It's good to keep your ph between 6-6.5 or yellow on the test kit.

Jst ordered a 2ft 16lamp my self along with some bloom bulbs.

I just ordered a 2 ft 16 lamp as i shld be comparable in lumens to the 4ft lamp..
