In case this is a serious question, the answer is yes- and it comes with responsibilities, chief among which is accepting and living the fact that your white skinned accident at birth confers exactly no privileges upon you relative to anyone else's skin color nor should any color be given preference.

Be proud of your past, the positive accomplishments of your ancestors, use them as the proud examples and indeed cautionary tales their lives represent, just like anyone of any other color or creed.

I'm white. I'm not ashamed of it. But I don't like that somehow sometimes I'm given a bit of a nod over those of other races- and frankly, even more often been the target of racism myself.

So I go out of my way to reach out to people of all colors as much as I can, to meet them at their comfort level and to inquire about their stories, backgrounds, culture, history, even food.

I've learned a lot and perhaps the most important thing I can say in favor of universal racial/religious/ethnic inclusiveness is this; we all are in this together, and we need all of us working together to help make a future we can believe in rather than fear.

Yeah Was really just having a laugh. But don't get me wrong having white skin does make certain comments that come out of my mouth more sensitive. With white skin comes great responsibility and to add if your a white male you have to be even more conscious. I personally don't have a racist attitude probably being bought up in a multicultural place it sort of stops that. I say certain things to my black family or friends that others probably wouldn't get away with but that's only because they know I'm not racist so it always comes off as a laugh.. This thread sucks show us some buds!

Why? Is it because I'm white and any comment I make about not being racist is a cover up for me being racist? This proves exactly what I was saying...I Gues I had better check with a black, Asian, Hispanic, Middle Eastern,female,lesbian,gay or trans before I post. Woops was that racist?

This whole thread about white terrorism is actually racist and if I was any other colour than white I could say I'm "offended" and the person making the thread would be called a racist. Like I said I'm not racist but .if everyone gave up trying to appease everyone different to them selves physically racism would stop. An old saying if you want a wound to heal stop picking at it.

Has this been determined to be a hate crime yet? o_O
