So if a 4 month old is brought here by their parents, the child is a criminal? This happened to a friend of mine. His mama got knocked up by a GI and he brought them all back without documentation - from Germany. He was 13 when he found out. Didn't speak no German. He is a pediatric surgeon in California now.

Should he go back? He was only there a few years.

It is probably ok with you. He is white.

The Trump administration hasn't released a memorandum. Just like all their recent shit, they menace and threaten without making a policy statement that anybody can use. Cannabis is legal in Nevada but you wouldn't think that by what the feds are saying. ""Nothing in the Guidance Memorandum or the Cole Memorandum alters the authority or jurisdiction of the United States to enforce federal law in Indian Country or elsewhere,". What a shitty, cowardly statement.

All I am saying is I have no sympathy for someone who knew the rules that needed to be followed, didn't follow the rules, and then cried when she and her family got in trouble for not following the rules. If any one us Americans pulled that kind of crap in almost any other country we would be locked up and kicked out so fast our head would spin. She knew she had a deadline to refile for her 'Dreamer' status, she failed to do so. Is it anyone else's fault she couldn't be bothered to follow the laws of the land? It isn't about kicking everyone out, just the ones that can't seem to be bothered with these silly things we call 'laws'. I'm not a Trump supporter, can't stand the guy, also couldn't stand Hillary either... so..... don't know what that makes me.

What difference does it make if you "have no sympathy?". I have no sympathy for somebody who gets a speeding ticket too. Should they get deported for a minor infraction of the law? A seven year old girl was brought here and at the age of 22 is a productive member of our society. What good can come from deporting her? Just because it offends you that she is here?

Your sense of moral outrage might be better placed on Trump's anti MJ actions. There again, a stupid policy is threatening a net benefit to our society.

But neither action is intended to be a net benefit to society. Both are actions to ratchet up the control of the police state and intimidate protesters. Which is why any thinking person should resist this expansion of rule by intimidation.

The closer you examine fascism, the less sense it makes, fiscal viewpoint included. The only ones who profit from it do it at the expense of the rest of us; which is when passing laws against something makes sense.
