Ritalin VS Adderall -TOLL-

I like adderall a lot, but then again i have never tried ritalin. I honestly feel like i can achieve anything when under the influence of adderall though. Whether it be sports or homework, i can do it all on that drug i love it!!!

Yeah dude i hear ya there. i really do. just dont let it get old, or have it to often, Cause ive over hyped on ritalen, and it lost its effects for weeks. Try some ritalen and come back to this poll! Snorting it is the way to go FYI.

Adderal is more of a time-release med, if I recollect (both my boys were ADHD, but that was the least of our problems), and that might be better for you. Also, I believe it won't affect teeth the same way Ritalin will. Personally, I hate having to remember to take meds (ok, except for my Mary, I never forget Mary), so I liked being able to reduce doses for them.

I didn't vote. I am ADD, but don't sleep well and a lot of things that make others feel speedy put me even more to sleep (I tend to be sleepy all the time). I just offered up what I remember about when my sons were being treated, which was quite a while ago. I liked the Adderall from a parent's perspective. Didn't seem to have the same effects (that "spidey sense" you mentioned, I have a folder on my HD called spidey sense, it's for my bug pix), and like I said, seemed to be longer lasting, gave a more even dosage. I believe that's the real difference between the two, as both are, again from my recollection, actually a combination of different types of speed.

I use to have (or still do) ADHD and take ritalin at high doses then moved on to dexadrin, it really fucks you up honestly...

all adderall made me do is feind for coke but that was back when i was a coke head.... ritalin we used to take 80 milligrams of ritalin and 80mills of prozac mix it in a shot of bacardi drink it down and whew that was fun... prozac won't do anything for you unless you mix it with alcohal or take it regularly..... don't take pills anymore though but it was mad fun 15 years ago

I hear you man. I took crazy pills in my early 20's. Upper's were definately my thing. Eventually I developed actual anxiety issues and dropped everything except weed and beer. No hard chemicals, no hard liquor and I'm a better man for it. Less anxiety anyway.

I've tried both and here are my thoughts:

Ritalin: it acts fast but doesn't last long. thats great if i want to be focused for like 2 hours but not more. Ritaline felt more like coke to me, upset my stomach a bit and felt tense.

Adderall: I like this stuff too much. It felt a lot like X, relaxation, focus, lasted long enough to be useful. Adderall tolerance builds quickly then you need to take a week or 2 to dry out. my doc wouldn't give it to me after i dried out. he gives me vyvanse which is an isomer of adderall. i consider it the evil twin. i've been in so many fights because of it.

Yeah, i was on prozac for a while, try a cup of coffee. I was in bliss.

godamnet you all have such good points on both. Ritalin is good shit, but ive noticed that it was making me deppressed after a while, along with zombie symptoms. Like i felt like i was one of the characters in that one south park episode where everyone takes ritalen and start acting like robots. What do you think are the chances i get both of these perscribed to me? like tell my docter that one gives me benifits in one area while another helps in another area? Any help one coming up with a good story?


I dont get how a methamphetamine can have closer effects to coke then an amphetamine, please fill me in. Im not saying it doesnt, cause personally i know it does. Maby i have to look for the feeling adderall gives me? Or maby i have to let adderall establish itself for a couple of weeks before the mega trippin comes around??
