Trump's record of keeping jobs says these logging jobs are going to be expensive. The Carrier deal cost about $500,000 per job. Or should I say, US taxpayers paid $500,000 to Carrier executives to retain the jobs of 1,000 workers who make about one tenth that amount. The difference here is that fewer homes will be built and will cost much more. This is a recessionary and inflationary move in one.
