The Mayans didn't predict the end of all- it was the end of an age.. it just happens that all the other 'end of the ages' ended in complete destruction in their accounts of history- but not everyone dies, the select few move on to the next age..

I didn't imply that the end of the calendar ment the end of days, lol. I think it means an end of a certain time, more like a change is to come, an end of one cosimic time into another. What I don't think is that the NAU favors this happening, contrary I think they are trying to stop something like this from happening, which is why they want to unite mexico canada and gain the broder to South America where this phenomonama is suppose to take place.

There's a huge thread about 2012 in the sexuality/philosophy forum.. I agree with you though- I think 2012 will begin a new age, something will change in how we look at things.. there is already change in the air, people feel it..

lol if the west goes down it will bring the east with it. the east and 3rd world are the codependent step children of the USA and the west. Nobody is leaving here, in fact they are coming fast than ever.

The thing I am most interested in is the alignment of the center of the milky way with our galaxy. That is supposed to be some kind of big deal. I'm curious to see if it will cause some kind of natural disaster, like the moon pulls the tides thing only on a larger scale. The rest of the universe pulling things on a larger scale.

It may just be a really cool night to look at the stars or it may be something with a larger impact. I'm just interested in it. It beats listening to the most recent OJ trial. (anyone really remember OJ-gate number 1. That was the best fodder for comedians ever).

But keep in mind the influence america has on the world, both politically and financially. China would go down the drain too if America somehow 'had a disaster'
And if China and the United states are out of the race.. what the fuck do you think will happen to the rest of the world?

We're deep in f*cking debt, hate towards Americans has never been higher in the world, our military is spread everywhere and our military advisers even admit we are weaker militarily than we have been in the past 10 years, nothing is manufactured here anymore, our freedoms are being eroded daily.. again.. we are the best how exactly?
