help save her please

please help. my plants just keep getting more and more yellow, everyday i notice more yellow on the undergrowth. one of the oldest leaves just shriveled up and died, and another is about to. my two autoflowers, are almost 4 weeks old. this is my first grow and i got a little excited about the nutes and stupidly gave them some at 13 days, i burnt them. since then their health seems to go back and forth but now it's going really downhill. the crystal, my larger plant is very droopy, it use to be that she perked up a bit after a watering, but now, nothing. my smaller one, skunk #1 has some yellowing leaves but other then that she looks healthy and for the most part happy, just very small. i'm worried about them, i thought the yellowing was from the nute burn at first so ive only been giving PH water, but apparently that's not how nutrient burn looks. a couple days ago i started another forum and people told me that it was a nitrogen defiancey and she was starving, so i gave them both 1/4 of a gallon that had 2ml of BioMarine NPK 2-3-1 (recommended start dosage is 5ml), and it didn't fix anything. my soil is pretty woody, and i'm afraid some of her soil is staying moist while other parts are drying out very fast, like some sort of a drainage problem. i'm using new soil next grow and ive mostly came to the conclusion that this grow was a fail, but i still would like to get some buds because of how much i payed, i don't want her to shrivel up and die before i can harvest. here's some information, please help

germinated in soil.

up until 13 days old i was keeping top soil moist with spray bottle.

water schedule

5/7 - .5 gallon Grow 1.5ml BioRoot 1.5ml BioWeed 1ml CaMg+ 1ml Diamond Black 1ml

5/10 - .5 gallon Root 5ml Weed 3ml

5/16 - 1 gallon flush PH 6.0

5/19 - 1/4 of gallon PH 6.1

5/21 - 1/4 of gallon PH 6.1

5/23 - 1/4 of a gallon BioMarine 2ml (moistness meter was on 3, but i was told they needed the nutes)
i wait until my soil moistness meter is on 1 to water.

my soil PH meter says PH is at 7.

Whitney Farms Organic Potting soil(.15-.10-.10)

10% perlite

General Organic Nutrients: BioThrive Grow, BioThrive bloom, Diamond Black, BioBud, BioWeed, BioMarine, BioRoot, CaMg+

74-82'F

45-60% humidity

2.5x2.5 space

1 oscillating fan on high (they sway)

1 fan pointed at light

1 humidifier

400 Watt MH w/ wing reflector about 18 inches away up until yesterday, when i switched to a 400watt HPS w wing reflector, put it about 24 inches away, and i'm slowly lowering it.

here is the first weird thing i saw on her, small rusty looking spots on one of her fan leaves

it then progressed to this

and then earlier today, died.

this picture was taken 2 days ago

now looks like this

there are other leaves affected as well

some more weird little marks

she has some very beautiful new growth coming in
here are some pictures of the full plant

please help me, i don't know if she'll make it.

Flush the piss out of it. On the last flush, dose it with I/4 strength nutes.

It's an auto, DONT transplant it! If your on week 4, it's only got 4-5 more weeks to go. DON'T flush! Flushing, or the proper term in agriculture, leeching, is for hydroponics, and only to wash out excess nutrients from the grow media. You're not using synthetics, from what I see, so salt buildup shouldn't be an issue.

Looks like they used up some of their N reserves going through the stretch. Nutrient solution PH should be 6.3-6.5PH. There's no reason to PH plain water, just mixed nutrient solutions. Ph correction is for nutrient uptake, plants will take up water at , almost, any PH. Watering at 6.0/6.1 ph, you might be having some PH/uptake issues.

I'd hit it with full strength Biomarine with full dose of the Diamond Black, water to get a decent runoff. Hopefully your soil is well draining.

my soil is actually straight shit, i wasn't aware woody soils neeed more perlite. how the leaves are slowly turning yellow in patches, IMG_8098.JPGis that consistent with lack of nitrogen? because i'm afraid my problem is the terrible drainage from soil.

Yeah I'm still saying it's a N issue, probably from poor drainage/ aeration. You need to fix that first, if you think it's the issue. If your soil is that poorly draining, poke a bunch of holes with a stake/pencil/etc., 3/4 down to the bottom of the pot, stay around the perimeter of the canopy and out, don't get too close to the stem or main root mass. If the soil is still mostly damp, let it dry out for a day or so. If/once the soil is dry enough, water, conservatively, slowly around the perimeter of the canopy so it drains through the poked holes and doesn't run off. Poke again after watering every time if the holes close up.

Don't rely on moisture meters, stick your finger all the way into the pot in a few places, don't water until its mostly dry and try to get used to their weights wet and dry.

do you still recommend using BioMarine (2-3-1) or should i use my veg nutes (4-3-3)? and i'll give her some diamond black, but what will that do exactly?

I think the plant is starving for oxygen. Soil staying to moist for too long.
top soil dries out in like a day, and if i stick my finger about two inches down it feels bone dry in some parts of the pot and kinda moist in other parts about 3 days or so after water. i just poured that shitty soil in and didn't even break it up or anything so i'm thinking it's a terrible consistency in there and some parts are staying moist while other parts are bone dry. i just thought overwatering made the leaves plump and droop because they're heavy. mine are paper thin and crispy, they rip if you fuck with them.

Most likely shitty soil, ph too low from wood chips and poor aeration. A good soil texture starts with a base of about 1/4 dirt, 1/4 perlite, 1/4 coir, 1/4 castings. You don't have enough aeration in your mix as witnessed by the gentle curve of the leaf structure (overwatered, lack of O2 cause this).

If your soil ph is out of range, it really doesn't matter what you ph your nutrient solution or water to, the soil will buffer it to the ph of the soil in very short order. I suspect this could be your issue as I see multiple lockout issues indicating low ph. I've heard that wood chips, besides lowering ph, will also rob the soil of some nitrogen as they decompose. Mixing in some lime with your next batch is the way to go. You might try top dressing with a little lime or wood ash, but autos are unforgiving on errors.

Live and learn brother, most all of us have been there. This crop will be weak, but you'll get some smoke. Focus on grow 2 and get your soil right. All else will be easier.

thank you for the reply brother. I've been using happy frog soil and ph water at 6.2 to 6.5. i just flushed with water at 6.4. hopefully it helps, not sure that it will. I've never had this problem before, but i am glad it occurred for the more you know the more you grow. thanks again for the advice!

she's 1 month and 2 days old. well, i'm officially done. i checked the soil in multiple places and it was bone dry, last time i watered them was 4 days ago. so, i used a pencil and stuck a bunch of holes 3/4 down in the soil around the perimeter of their canopies to try to help get some oxygen to the roots and help drainage, and i gave them both 1/4 of a gallon that contained 2ml of BioThrive Grow (4-3-3) to try to help the N deficiency that i believe i have, i re poked the small holes after watering into them. when i woke up a little bit ago, she looks worse then ever. i'm seriously done. fuck it. i don't even think he buds will make it to harvest, i know none of her leaves will. the rate the yellowing is going, she'll lose all her leaves in the next week.

Take what ya learned and go again. Sounds like you put together a pretty good set up and it won't cost you much to reset. With a good soil you don't need to feed jack shit for a solid month and you'll get primo results. Study up on soil prep.
