Miracle Grow Plant Food Sticks

Hi People,

So I was getting some grocieres and I saw Miracle Grow Plant Food sticks. They say they are good for all flowering plants. I have a few plant all indoors in pots and just some soil mix that is pre-fertialzed. I have not used any other nutes or additives. I am into day 6 of 12/12 after 5 weeks of 24/0.
Will these plant food sticks do any help? Are they worth using at all?
I also put 1 of them in a pot where i have a new sprout. It is only a wekk old and is about 3 inches tall.

Oh - on a side note - any tips on doing 12/12 from seed? That is what I am trying with my new sprout. It is strawberry cough and is under 4 CFL's.

Agree, don't use time release ferts and plant "food" is different than fertilizer. Save the sticks for your day lillys not for you marijuana.

I wouldn't for sure put the stick in the little one. It shouldn't need any kind of nute that young. Their are people on here that are totally MG haters. I use MG and it works for me.The sticks take away your control of how much you are giving at one time, so I wouldn't use the sticks again, but I think no harm no foul. Look at all the other MG threads and maybe you can find out some information that's useful between all the argueing for and against the use of it. Take it out of that little sprouter!!

k, for the lil feller, take those friggin sticks out they will kill ur plant. Dont feed nuthin but water for 1st 2 weeks then add about half of suggested use on bottle or less when u 1st start feeding, Every week u can mix a lil stronger till about a month to go the suggested use on bottle.Dont over water. Be patient wait for soil to almost completely dry out then drench. Dont over water !! Very important !! Hee I suggest fish emulsion but any fert will do at right mixture.
