where do you get your information from RT?
why are you so insistant on spreading false information?
yes he voted for Sessions
after he was assured by Sessions himself that he wasnt going to do the very thing he did

maybe you should read some of the bills he has brought forth
The bill Paul introduced last month--called the Justice Safety Valve Act of 2013--isn't nearly so expansive as he led his audience to believe. While the act would allow "courts--in some circumstances--to sentence a person below the mandatory minimum if that sentence is too lengthy, unjust or unreasonable, or doesn’t fit the offender or the crime," it doesn't require judges to deviate from the mandatory minimum, nor does it entitle offenders who fit the above criteria to an alternative sentence. If it had passed a decade ago, a bill like Paul's would've empowered a federal judge to sentence 24-year-old small-time pot dealer Weldon Angelos to 18 years in prison, instead of the mandatory 55 he received. In other words, people are still going to have their lives ruined by the drug war if Paul's bill passes.

I think Paul is a joke, but baby steps are how things are generally achieved.
couldnt agree with you more

as long as we can get our foot in the door....we can eventually kick it wide open
but until then.......its politics not common sense

I think Paul is a joke, but baby steps are how things are generally achieved.
Here are some positions that come with those "baby steps":

  • Force a Senate vote on defunding Planned Parenthood
  • Supports religious freedom to deny contraceptive coverage
  • Personhood at conception, including embryonic stem cells (yep, you read that right -- even embry...it's so stupid I can't even complete the sentence)
  • Include pre-born human beings in 14th Amendment protection.
  • Gay contracts ok, but gay marriage is offensive (libertarian my ass)
  • Women won the "war on women": they're no longer downtrodden (Really?)
  • Redefining marriage leads to economic and moral problems
  • Voted NO on reauthorizing the Violence Against Women Act
  • Cut corporate tax in half to create millions of jobs (LOL!)
  • Obama's "You didn't build that" insults American workers (it did no such thing. Little Ayn Rand Paul is a fucking liar to boot)
  • Repeal energy regulations like Clean Power Act
  • Cut red tape to allow energy freedom & traditional energy
  • Supports Keystone XL, plus domestic oil & gas exploration
  • Unelected EPA should not regulate greenhouse emissions (yeah, instead of scientists, let's elect politicians for this. Paul is really, really dumb)
  • Energy crisis stems from too much government intervention (this very well could be the dumbest motherfucking thing I've ever read)
  • Voted YES on barring EPA from regulating greenhouse gases
  • Revival of values depends on fusing freedom and virtue (I for one, do not require a "values" lecture from a lying piece of shit)
  • Shut down Department of Education and TSA
I could on, but why? There's enough right there to ponder. Rand Paul baby steps? No thanks.

I thought Clinton had a better chance against Trump than Bernie did. Was I wrong? We'll never know. Certainly a possibility.
Polls during primary revealed Sanders +13 over Trump, with Clinton +2 (within margin of error) Trump.

So how close was that verifiable prediction?

I'm not saying I agree with Possum-master, but even a broken clock is correct twice a day; any step away from mandatory minimums is a positive step IMO.
