The Truth About Flushing

I find it "derp' that people can be so easily "fooled" or "brainwashed" into certain things by a youtube video or a rigged cup,DERP!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
What is foolish about a guy that shows his grow and his techniques, what is foolish about learning from others and how they might have ways that differ and perhaps we can incorporate some of those?

It's incredible that we have had forums for the past 2 decades to share our gardens and techniques with each other.

Even better having video evidence and real-time communication has brought us that much closer into each others' gardens.

You think this is foolish?

Can you at least attempt to answer the questions or at least provide some evidence that that specific cup was rigged?

How is it foolish for oneself to discern what one prefers with regards to one variable or method vs another?

HOW am I suppose to prove that you blew a judge? only you and the judge know that.

Maybe with cmh and led but it is not cost effective in leds.

I'm not claiming t5 to be a superior light either. Just saying. More than one way to skin a cat.
Oh I hear ya, I'm the first in line to say "what ever floats your boat". I dont even get upset at flushing lol. I tried them and trust me I wish they worked for me, I love em. And honestly they still yielded well just not great ;).

No, I likened it to a caloric deficit. A calorie deficit and fat loss go hand in hand, but you cannot skip that step and say I compared a flush to fat loss, because I didn't. You need the deficit to bring the fat loss.
Are you sure? I recall you comparing flushing to fat loss. Let's go back and check...

A better one would be to compare a flush to a calorie deficit in humans. A deficit in humans (done correctly) can exhaust stores of body fat. Much the same as a flush in cannabis horticulture brings about some aesthetically pleasing attributes some of us refer to as a fade.

Have you never put yourself through a calorie deficit, fat people get thin and they don't die and often come out with better blood work.

Another take away from the above quote; You think that nutrient deficiencies and/or imbalances are "aesthetically pleasing"?

Tell me, in your words, what you accomplish by starving the plants for a week, or two, while the flowers finish trich/terpene development. I'm all ears.

You didn't respond to this^.

Now worries, here's another golden opportunity for you to lay down the "actual and factual" behind the practice of "Orange Mocha Frappuccino" enemas (flushing). You can do that, or continue on about chicken shit

Flushing is "starvation", not a caloric deficit.

Before we go on we need to come to some kind of understanding or having some message received as intended or this is pointless.

You will have to read what you quoted me as saying and then ask yourself your own question again.

I feel as if the first line in my explaining to you how I would have made that analogous connection as being very vividly clear as a caloric deficit. Any fat loss would be a result, but that is not what I am drawing the parallel to.

The METHOD is what is analogous, we can draw further analogous parallels later but let's agree on at least this or the rest is hopeless.

Bullshit. I'm not going to allow you to back pedal your way out of this. Below, in your own words, you compaired "flushing" to fat loss.

Your analogy @Odin* is not a good one. A better one would be to compare a flush to a calorie deficit in humans. A deficit in humans (done correctly) can exhaust stores of body fat. Much the same as a flush in cannabis horticulture brings about some aesthetically pleasing attributes some of us refer to as a fade.

Since you don't even understand your own words, this is hopeless.

Dude the first fucking sentence, verbatim, reads as follows...

"A better one would be to compare a flush to a calorie deficit in humans."

THEN I go in to explain the result of the method "can exhaust stores of bodyfat"

What are you having a hard time understanding...

This was an extremly informative interesting read. Thank you so much!

I especially found the mobile and immobile transportion info about the xylem and the phloem very very interesting.

Amazing post!

Dude the first fucking sentence, verbatim, reads as follows...

"A better one would be to compare a flush to a calorie deficit in humans."

And the next sentence fucking says...

A deficit in humans (done correctly) can exhaust stores of body fat.
Now you take that a step further and explain how that "fat loss" relates to "flushing"...

...Much the same as a flush in cannabis horticulture brings about some aesthetically pleasing attributes some of us refer to as a fade.
You can't be this retarded. You said it, now own it.

That first sentence "A better one would be to compare a flush to a calorie deficit in humans."

Do see the word compare?

Do you see anywhere in the rest of the body of text the word compare?

Are you caught up at least to here?

You don't need to explicitly say "compare", you fucking idiot.

So much "shit" coming out that you don't even know what you are saying. Look again cupcake.

You even furthered the comparison here...

Have you never put yourself through a calorie deficit, fat people get thin and they don't die and often come out with better blood work.

I'm sure that you were just off on a tangent and looking to discuss my fitness goals. (Damn, haven't been in the gym since baby #3, almost 2 years)

That enema didn't get those stupid pills out of your ass. Absorbed completely, damage done. Sorry.

I get it, you cannot keep up.

A method is describing a process.

The result would be in consequence to the method.

The flush being the former and the fade being the latter in plants and my analogy drew comparison between flush and calorie deficit (method) the fade and consequential fat loss are in result.

what if i never used "salts",, then what
100 internets says organic matter is broken down to mineral salts before a plant can use the nutritions ?
They dont uptake dead fish for instance only whats broken down by fungi insect compost?
If I win we then all use salts to grow our plants hydro or organic style.

t5's are the equivalent of a VHS :)

I know what you're saying. But dudes got a canopy covered in toxic chemicals ready for an accident to ruin his grow. There's a million reasons not to use t5's and very few to use them in flower especially when you can customize your spectrums with LED's super easily. T5's are a waste of fuckin money.

I know what I am talking about I grew with CFLs for over a year and it was a money pit. Non stop spending on more fixtures and shit. Replacing bulbs.... it never fuckin ends. Then you break one and throw out your entire grow. Fun fun... I mean if you don't care that breaking those lights can cause all sorts of health risk then by all means be a dumb ass using outdated technology they don't even use for warehouse lighting anymore......
"I run several spectrums including uv. The smoke is better. Have I had mine tested. No but as others have stated there are plenty of studies to show uv grows more potent bud."

Well yes, I agree and said so earlier. UV is available in other types of lights than T5.
at the moment there is no better affordable source for an UV-A/B spectrum available than a T5.

no LED, no COB, not in a broad spectrum, not even in a narrow spectrum and not in that intensity.

I really dont know but that would be better said with some sort of proof of this. like actual amount of uv, penetration etc I'd think. I am interested in this and will watch for proofs
