but you need 38,731,440,000 . my first draft plan gives us that.

i i was using the top 1% to cover half the total pop . 159 million is half the pop not half the earners. everyone under 30k including kids can be easily covered by taxing to top 2 % wealthiest . everyone including kids living ff of less than 30 k is just over 50% of the total pop.

Your statistic of 30k being just over 50% of the total population is off because that's not how it is calculated or what the statistic means. Otherwise, we are in complete agreement.

You know what's amazing?

The people of that EAM church are actually praying for that asshole.

I spoke with Chris (Sharonda's son) and even he is praying for that waste of life.

That's what pisses me off more than anything - they're actually people of God, salt of the earth, as good as they come...and that sack of shit is still breathing.

And nobody cares. They're all too worried about some Muslim that got a scholarship to Yale getting into the country.

Not that I'm particularly religious but to forgive is part of healing. Forgiveness is for the benefit of the harmed. They can forgive whether the perp (I won't write his name) understands their deed or not. But forgiveness has to be given to be a healing power and not forced. Most but not all of the people affected by the Charleston shooter forgave the perp. It's about moving on and being ready to do so. The grace of those people are amazing.

And yeah, I haven't forgiven him even though I'm just a bystander. Again, the grace of the people who forgave him is amazing to me. But that forgiveness is helping them, not the shooter. The shooter hasn't shown any remorse. He's still burning inside. I hope he chokes on it.
