That must be old because Franzia doesn't make wine with an alcohol content of 13.6%.
Highest I've seen is 12.5 and most of them are lower. You can tell by the price which ones are watered down. They have weird names too, like "crisp white".
Also, 5 liters of Franzia usually runs around $15. Even when it's on sale it is not even close to $8.50.
Then there's the Franzia taste...
Best quality for the buck is Bota Box. Their pinot grigio is one of my favorites.
