New England outdoors 2017

Hey everyone. I need some help. I had a root shocked outdoor plant ( work a lot and forgot about where i put it) so i found it and transplanted it in some corn. Because it was stunted, only a foot and a half tall with all branches staying really close to the main stalk) and the corn grew so fast, it started flowering. However the pistils seem really dark. Any idea why?

Wow I know flowering will occur w less than 14 hours but that's a whiles away. I was hoping to harvest before then. First timer out here so I'm trying to refrain from asking questions that are nearly impossible to answer accurately. Like how much am I gunna yield and all that. I germmed mine April 17 vegged indoor until the week before the solstice and put them outside. Will they go until October?

Trying to follow the less is more philosophy by doing less which is annoying. The process is litterally comparable to watching paint dry. I shouldn't say that it's a bit more asthetically pleasing.

I'm envious of you folk with your gals out there in the wild. Where you have to hike and go off the beaten path. Make a day of going to take care of the girls and every time you go, you'd see a change which is fun and exhilarating. Very excited to see my own product. Although probably anti climatic. Enter mold or worms stage left. Shut up

lol,its a rollercoaster of a ride bro,for sure.as far as when your plant will start flowering,it all depends on what strain youre growing.some start flowering earlier than others.do you know what strain youve got? guerilla grows arent all that,lot of work.i'll water from my spigot any day :cool:
 
I do know the strains of my seeds. One is listed as "medium" flowering time and 53-59 days. What do I make of that? I figured that is an indoor estimate

kinda of a guessing game really.any sign of heavier pistil growth or have you noticed a fast growth(stretch) with the plant? hard knowing not seeing it

Yeah I've observed both pistils and fast growth or stretching. Would I consider when that started to occur about the onset of flowering? And about 60 days later will be harvest tentatively?

just a guess,but if they were "medium flowering" id say middle/end september,if they are starting to flower right now. imo,flowering estimates are just that and are more for the indoor grower to go by

yeah,squash borers.@thumper60 has had problems with them.ive never heard of such a thing until he posted about them.evil fuckers

I had one plant that had worms in the stem, Posted about it on a different thread got this response http://rollitup.org/t/bodhi-seeds.518143/page-1703#post-13676677 keep your eyes out for egg sacks underneath the leaves they are definitely a pain
 
Anyone have any advice or criticisms? This is my first ever grow. Just wondering if they looked decent for last week of July (upstate ny)
