If you need to, buy the Y connector so that you can get two light bulbs instead of one. I think you will find your results to be quite a bit better.

theres a T connector thats 10dallors and 3lights hmmm

The lights screw directly into the Y-Splitter:

You will also need the socket plug directly above it. If you're going to home depot these two things should be right next to each other or in the same box.

If in doubt just ask a sales guy, nothing suspicious about cfl lighting...everybody is buying them these days to save energy.
