I was pleased they had a small 20-25kw and 50kw turbines including all site planning, installation and servicing for a very attractive capital cost.

It would be interesting to know how much renewable energy GE products are contributing to the grid today. Then they have their nuclear division.....

No one has a problem with your boards. They appear to be a fine product, on par with HLG and ChilLED products (and other 561C based products). We only have problems with outlandish claims of "half the energy to make the same amount of power"

Don't know what they are at today, but in 2012, they were up around 10 GW of wind capacity.

I'm sure the GE marketing department would be happy to tell us. And there's nothing wrong with that; I consider any power made with 'other than coal' to be good power these days!

Vestas built several plants here in Colorado and they ship their turbines throughout the Western States. It's cool to watch trainloads of turbine blades passing through town.

Yeah, Vestas also has some parks up here in Oregon too, Siemens has a shitload of towers on the Washington side of the gorge, and Suzlon has a bunch on the Oregon side. I once sat down and used google maps to figure out that there was well over a thousand turbines in about a 30 mile radius of Arlington were we were.

I was intrigued to find out how GE moved the tower sections in. They truck them in but there is no "trailer" to speak of. They simply attach a set of wheels to the back of it, and bolt the front to a hitch connected to the semi-tractor. The only thing holding it all together is the tower section itself.

I would think it would be plenty strong enough, considering what it has to deal with in operation.

The blades look like they'd need a bit more care, but I'm just guessing.

How is this possible as long as the battery is 12 volt and the recommended cold cranking amps how can there be any difference?

As long as the CCA rating is the same, it won't hurt your car, unless you need a sledgehammer to make it fit! Same CCA does not necessarily mean the same physical size.

There are different options for battery posts and for which side is positive. That's for the OEM drop in fit; otherwise these are minor issues, easily adapted.

Actual reason is that you would give up your right to sue, or more likely them putting themselves into a liability position by allowing you to go against the manufacturers recommendation.

No, when I asked how it would damage the electronics they just kept saying it would void the battery warranty and it was against store policy. I figure the best way to do it is buy the cheap battery and tell them you put it in the recommended car if you find out what that is! lol
