Now this is no big deal in regard to neighbours who are a little away from us but could be bad if some cunt decides to come and say hello. So, I can get rid of my wife or I can upgrade my little charcoal filter so I can run higher CFM thru it (dwell time and all that). Draw back of this is that the exhaust roar would well be audible from a fence line and to the people who visit. Fan noise is very quiet but the exhaust sound itself isn't.

Any thoughts on helping making this less roaring? Ive come up with insulated or silicon ducting instead of the normal cheap foil stuff but that may not be enough.

Have you got a scrubber running inside your room ? That's how I like to set up just a fan with a filter constantly scrubbing the air and one on the outlet aswell

No, just in the tent and it exhaust's outside.

Grow room is an old bathroom, the walls are not floor to ceiling. Tent is in the room and has a carbon filter in the tent, running neg air pressure. No smell from the exhaust outside but if I dial up the fan the air passes thru the small filter to fast and doesn't scrub well enough.

stoned thought...if I inlarge my passive inlets then ill move more CFM for the same sound??? But ill still need to replace that carbon filter (its the same size Nugs uses and like everything bar the light I got in the kit its to small for the 4 x 4 .)
