Yeah. Some of the lumen gains come from a change in how they apply the phosphorus. 2% gain or so in ppf/w vs lm561c and a lot more cost. The 301b has been out for a long ass time

they knew before digital meters if one grid was using more power than the meters were reporting. All the meters are digital now. They know what grids are using more electricity than the meters are reporting now. It's simply a matter of manpower resources to hunt it down.
Exactly it's just funny that people are finally starting to notice them. Is the beam angle different? I remember looking at them a while ago i thought I remember reading about a more narrow beam angleYeah. Ok cool, thanks! I know one wont be enough but didnt want to by 3 either lol. Going to reuse heat sink from old platinum 300 & one will have to get one moreI use 4 boards for a 4x4.
You could get by with 2 QB304
I'm not sure why he recommended the 304 specifically, but the 288s are basically the exact same thing, and are in stock.I dont have the funds yet but their sold out anyways, which is why im considering a strip build.
Yes I do see those available. Thanks!I'm not sure why he recommended the 304 specifically, but the 288s are basically the exact same thing, and are in stock.
Got it! I still have to do some more reading especially this thread. I have a 240-1050 meanwell driver I want to use.The 304 and 288 run at different voltages so you could match them to a existing driver if you had one or match them to a available one.
