Im glad I only got 6 in a bed this year
Last year I had 9 in a bed and 40 in pots lol
Next year ill go bout 12 I reckon all in the ground
I find for some reason in the ground I only have a 1/4 of the pests I get in pots

40 !!!! Lol
The soil here is almost pure clay,I was going to dig a bed out and fill it with good soil but I just couldn’t be fucked. I spray them with B.T once every couple of weeks and haven’t got any snails now I’ve moved them

I got a gd collection of salts and powders made up plus sauces which go pretty quick
I would have enough chillies still in freezer to make another 5 kilos of salt so I'm set for a while
Keeping it small now till I get sorted for a chilli greenhouse I want to build as a permanent fixture in the backyard

Gypsum can help with the clay. I've had to put my big bag into a bucket. As I had ants make their home in mine.

Question for you learned folks. Is 34% (@28c) rh too low throughout any part of a plant's life? My pineapples don't seem bothered by it. But I also don't want them to stress out of it stays that way during lights on.

Gypsum has became my favourite amendment,clay soils are high in Magnesium to calcium ratio(ideally 6:1 cal:mag) so by adding calcium you loosen th soil. The 6:1 cal:mag ratio is a good one to think about if you think you need cal mag in soil.

I'm almost never going to be in the optimal humidity according to that chart. Especially during lights on. It gets very dry in my cabinet.

Do you blokes reckon this is flowering? Im hoping its not cause its my nicest plant and i wanted it to veg for at least another month and a half. The daylight hours are almost as long as they get and my other plants that were flowering have reveged now so itd be weird if this one is flowering.
