Pre registration for the greatest party cup grow off of 2018

Quick question (sorry if it's already been answered) but is it cool to add more lighting as the grow goes on?
Because I may have to move the cup into my main grow area.
The lights will be the same brand, but wattage will be higher.
All still LED.

If each vendor offered something as a prize for 1st-3rd then there'd be tons of people sighning up.
Plus, it's a chance for the vendors to get their products out there to members so that the whole forum can see them in action, whether it's a light, seeds, whatever the vendors sell, these competitions give them that opportunity.
For seed growing Newbs like myself, this can be pretty darn dangerous. Imagine a lil 16oz cup plant hermying a several # grow. Oooohhhh, just the thought makes me cringe.
But hey, living on the edge can be risky buss.
Sighn me up pls.
I'll use seeds from my last run that hermied. I've heard hermie seeds will hermie again from some growers & heard the exact opposite from others. Guess I'll find out but will flower the cup in a quarantined spot away from the main room.
We should contact all the vendors & give them the chance to participate.
@The Dawg , your comp is the real annual challenge correct?
So maybe half the vendors for one comp & the other half for the other?
What do you guys think? If so, I'll get to talking to Amare about it.

Real is subjective. Ill call this one real. Its as real as any other competition. I'm not after stealing vendors from the dawg. Working on prizes.

If someone is capable of growing pounds at a time then they can handle a herm before it ruins it.

If all you have is herm seeds then at the very least you stand a chance at winning some good genetics.

Didn't mean to say real To be offensive. Yeah, of course they're both real. I meant the annual traditional comp.
never knew anyone had specific vendors that worked w/ them on these things.
I know brother OneHitDone won a light from Johnson grow lights last year or before. CX4 or something. Pretty cool.
My last grow I ran a pheno hunt in my room & the #2 hermied in a way I've never seen or read about so I didn't catch it before spreading. Also, when one is growing that much it tends to be harder to find things like that cuz there's so much plant mass to cover. Basically, if your growing #'s you can't fxck around w/ iffi genetics, seeds, or even new strains unless they're tested already.
So, I'll just make a little encloser in the furnace room where it'll get high Co2 & it's easier to keep an eye on it.
Why, what's your opinion on herm caused seeds? These seeds are not from the primary herm but are from the other plants that were pollinated. The primary herm was a genetic herm so maybe that makes the seeds no good?
So, we all drop in a wet towel or begin germination on the 14th?

No offense taken. I just meant my goal was not to poach vendors from the other thread. I want this comp to stand on its own.

Thinking if no sponsors step in I would do something like $75, 50 and 25 worth at a seed bank.

Seeing as how I’ve not signed up for this competition I’d be willing to put up beans, I got lots to go around and several of my own gear not even pictured. If that’s kosher.
