even with only 18w if they were rigged in a radial grid and weren't spaced too far apart you'd be pushing well over 30w per square foot using 5 of them. would it be efficient? probably not. but would it look like an alien spaceship and grow a small dense plant? yup :weed:
Efficiency isn’t really an issue for me on such a small amount of wattage. Spectrum may be an issue though

might well look into builing a little grow box for this like a normal gro but like down 2 scale sort of thing might make it out things if got like recycling sort of thing

I could rebuild my old blurple box. But I've now got space in the big NugBox. So... probably cbf with that.

I will one day revamp that setup. But it'll probably be slightly larger. Like 1.5-2 sqft. And have at least another foot of height to it.

For now. I'm using the big fucker.

Also. I've ripped up the scroty one.

I’ve got a fake fridge grow box I’ll be busting out for the grow of and I’ll be modding it so I have 1 light source above and lights on the back and side walls might mount one on the door if it’s not too much trouble.
Sounds sick have you used it before then? Do you think the compressor could ever cool say 60w lights to run it sealed? Ive got an old stand up freezer I'm going to use as well.

I've got 16 bridgelux EB gen 1 2' strips and 2 x 700ma 200w drivers to use for 3 cup challenges I'm in. I'll probably use 4 2' strips @700ma surrounding each cup for 30w/sqft @160lm/w. Maybe buy 3 x vero v18 gen7 cobs to put up top of each so its not all side lighting. They're only $17ea and I've got heaps of $1 40mm ally heatsink/fan combos I bought ages ago from China that would be perfect for a v18 cob.

It’s not actually a fridge,it’s just looks like a fridge I’ll get some pics of it when I get it from my stash spot.
Sounds like you’ve got plenty of gear to build a nice light combo

Hoping the K-Rich,Cal-Phos and Bio-P turn up in the next few days I really need to get the Calcium and Phosphorus levels up on all the plants and the ones that are a bit further along are ready for a Potassium hit. The Bio-P is a new one for me I’ve never used P solubilising bacteria but I think it’s one of those things that will become a lot more common in the next few years, plenty of guys are reporting good results from Mammoth P but I think the Bio P will be just as good and about half the price aswell as being an Australian product

Sounds very interesting all of that, what's the idea/way to run bio-p? Is it soil only? Also what does running both do? Cheers
Edit: its for unlocking P in soil never mind

Guys are using Mammoth P in all types of grows so I don’t see why it wouldn’t be the same,Phosphorus is really easily locked up so the idea is the bacteria consume the locked up P and release it in a form that’s available to the plant. I’m only just getting into the whole process so it’s still new Tek to me.
