The Democratic Congressional Campaign Committee opposes progressives

In every single race where an establishment Democrat is running against a progressive Democrat who has pledged not to accept corporate or PAC money, the DCCC endorses the establishment candidate

In Texas, they posted negative research on Justice Democratic candidate Laura Moser. In New York, they denied Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez access to crucial voter information, effectively stifling her campaign (against one of the most corrupt establishment Democrats in the House; Joe Crowley). Earlier in the year, they sent out a memo to all candidates running, they have to spend something like 75% of their campaign funding on TV advertisements and gave candidates a list of Democratic consultants - pre-approved by the Democratic establishment - as the only ones they can use. (The same consultants responsible for losing 1,000 seats under Obama...)

So they block vital voter information for progressive candidates, they require the majority of the funds raised to be spent on garbage TV ads that nobody will watch, they require no "infighting" between Democratic primary candidates, then smear progressives in public memo's and advertisements, and incompetent members of the Democratic party establishment still believe these elections are fair... I guess the only metric they go by is if the mainstream corporate media say the elections are fair, then hey! they're fair! They said so!

It's obvious, the only way corporate establishment Democrats can win elections against progressives is by cheating and setting up the system so it's rigged in their favor from the beginning. This year is going to show otherwise.

but the progressives are so popular why would they ever need any help from those stinky filthy corrupt establishment dems?

"But they're so popular, even if we cheat they should still win, though, right?"

Why are you trying to shift the focus away from the candidates you support having to cheat to win their elections?

Why do you support candidates cheating?

If you support establishment candidates cheating to win elections, how can you criticize Donald Trump for allegedly cheating to win an election?

Make sure you focus on that word 'allegedly', now, instead of the entire rest of the argument...

The Democratic party is already moderate, why are you even a member if you support moderate Democratic ideals like the war on drugs, NSA spying and illegal wire taps, the patriot act? Why not join up with the Republicans? All of your political opinions already match someone like Manchin and McCaskill, who might as well be Republicans anyway. Pretty sad coming from someone based in Colorado

i'm a moderate democrat but i have some really far left wing beliefs. i think we should abolish ICE, lower the voting age to 16, ban all semi-automatic firearms, have some form of universal healthcare that is free to the end user and based off of already existing and successful models from other nations, grant full amnesty to all undocumented workers, and give reparations to descendants of slaves by taking the money from those who profited from slavery.

i'm also a realist though

You support the DCCC smearing progressives like Beto O'Rourke against a Republican monster like Ted Cruz just because they're progressive

O'Rourke is likely to win the Dem primary, he will face Cruz in the general. Shouldn't you support O'Rourke, considering your moderate ideals? Or do you support Cruz more?

fixing social security and medicare forever by simply raising the cap from $118,000 (just eliminate the cap completely), maintaining some of our worldwide military force and aid to other nations, other shit like that.

No, no, keep going. What other moderate ideals do you support? Can you list at least 5?

I don't believe fixing SS and Medicare by raising the cap is a "moderate" position. I also support eliminating the cap, which is absolutely progressive. I also agree with maintaining a certain portion of our military force, I definitely don't agree with American imperialism, but a certain percentage is necessary to enforce peace. So, on a 0-100% scale, what force of American Imperials would you keep? I'd say we could reduce it by at least 50% and still maintain global peace. You?

Aid to other nations, of course, no question.. Still not moderate...

i dunno, those seem like pretty moderate ideals to me. 25-50%reduction seems doable while still giving us all the power we need to keep the peace

maybe name some of these evil moderate positions and i'll say yea or nay

What in the world would lead you to believe reducing or eliminating the cap in which rich people are taxed towards social security is a "moderate position"?

What "moderate Republicans" can you list who support that?

maybe name some of these evil moderate positions and i'll say yea or nay

OK, so mark that up as UB opposed to the USA Patriot Act? It doesn't really matter if you supported someone who was against it. I'm not asking that. I'm asking if you are against it or not
don't really care about what the NSA is doing
