Ive did the rear on a van a couple of years ago and dropped the rear end out and rolled a new rear in but that took close to a day.

Ive done front springs before (awhile ago) but didn't drop the front out, just did a corner at a time. Wasn't hard at all but did use a spring tensioner.

I'm not very mechanical minded but do have a good assortment of tools. YouTube is fknwonderful.

How do you go with humidity in the house?
I live on a farm my grow room is set up in an old out building I have. It's my room inside a room really.

I've got like around 4 m ceiling height so humidity not so bad around the 50 mark atm. It's more the cold temps I need to worry about, I'm running two 400w leds, atm. As the temp drops I'll use a 400w hps to increase room temp. This is my first indoor grow. I'm more an outside gardner that wants to be multi faceted. The first stage for me is to produce some auto seed as I can't be fucked paying top dollar for seed. I only buy seed to add to my collection mostly. I'm in my grow room now I'll take a few pics of the setup. I think they have grown like another inch over night. Happy daysView attachment 4105860

In paint work and panel first goes ya gonna fuck up... anyone who tells you differently is full of it... best thing about steel if ya fuck it... just cut it out and weld a new bit in and paint just wipe it off and start again. I was selling custom bonnet's with reverse cowels for a killing there for awhile $3000 a pop only took me 4 days of work.. but the market dropped off...
its steel..its a real car. Have most of the panel work done (haven't had a bad fk up yet but do have a mate who wields for me). Ive never done a car from scratch before..dont care if it takes me another 12 months or 4 years to be honest. Just want to do it in the shed.

I would mate like i said ive been doing it alooong time... You "know" this mechanic? Coz his prob full of shit lol no joke its bad now... Chances are its prob control arm bushes are rooted easy fix.. springs i doubt it its more likely the struts are fucked... which works out easier for you to change... what model you got ill tell ya right now how hard...
just did a bit of reading and found a walk-through to replace it all and it looks do-able. youre right - its not the springs themselves that need replacing its the control arms, struts etc.

having a couple sensor issues too that I need an electrician to check out but the problems might go away when its all fixed - dunno. Im not all that swung on this mechanic but hes the euro car guy in my area. checked the prices on parts and it varies a fair bit depending on if you skimp on quality (which I wont) but the kit is supposed to be a drop in replacement for all the shit thats fucked. Safe to say this guys cream on top for labour is fucking outrageous.

Might not say what kind of car it is - I think I've said where I live(ish) on here and my car is really uncommon in these parts. Probably why this dude is charging like a wounded bull. appreciate the tips dudes

Most sensor issues ive found is the CO2 sensor. (especially if its a turbo) Cheap on e bay and an easy fix on most cars,

these are ABS sensors - only 20-30 bucks each but not sure if they are the actual problem or if its something causing them to report an issue. I'll just replace them regardless i reckon

Yeah your right I think that's how they market them, only guessing but I reckon would draw like 100w at the gpo. My old China hat hps she puts a fair bit out. This will be leds and hps combo.
i had a chinese light that was supposed to be 400w but it was 180w at the wall and I reckon a third of that was the fans. sounded like a jet engine when it was running. burnt out a couple strings of diodes fucken quick too, utter shit
