7.77 amps

Multiplied by
20180325_220221.jpg
Equals 366.744 watts total or 183.372 watts per board.

Back of board temps were
20180325_221432.jpg
That's as hot as it got.

At 138 watts per board I got a top reading of
20180325_224813.jpg
32oC.
I've no kilowatt meter or PAR meter at moment, its out at a mates but I'll get it back this week to see what par readings are with 2 x boards in that configuration.

They seem pretty cool temp wise without heat sink.

Yeah everyone is copying nextlight
It was only after you pointed out how similar it was to the Nextlight the òther week, I'd forgot about that lol.
Although it's slightly different as the Nextlight Mega has 6 x boards and is 37 x 37 .
Are you still using yours?

My efforts are to build a cheap simple light with minimal connections, wiring etc that works for me .
When I get the meters back I'll do another PAR Map with the 2 boards.
I have an expandable grow area size wise 5- 6ft x 2-3ft
I'm hoping it'll cover a 3ft x 3ft area with gg boards and QBs at the edges.
As long as I get the PAR I need.:D

@Moflow they seem to be running cooler than what my quantumn boards do at similar power levels, so that's another positive for these particular boards.
Thanks for posting your findings, very much appreciated.
There is 50% more led on those boards compared to 2xqb288.. this explain why at same power its cooler and also more efficient

Yes , I'm quite surprised at how cool they run
Thank you again for all the testing you do! Its definitively helpful!

Yeah alot of people seem to forget about nextlight I don't have one but I hope they make some new stuff they were so far ahead of the grow lights around at the time i run quantum boards I have 18 304 boards over a 4x9 running at 700ma per board. At 700ma I wouldn't recommend more than 8" between boards to get 1000ppfd

Isnt the nextlight somewhere in the 1500$ range? The 2 lights in this thread are less than 500$ for the same perfomance more or less? They come with a better customer service and warranty but not worth 3x+the price imo.. especially if you are to run them soft without heatsink

Yeah not trying to sell them but I'm pretty sure they came out in like 2014 maybe sooner it's cool that the same tech is getting really popular now and there's better/cheaper options

These are the worst people to deal with. They are definitely not S6 diodes. By weight they do not use 2oz copper, and the connectors are garbage. Even the Molex lite trap connectors are only rated at 3 amps and these connectors are half the thickness. I understand they are cheap just understand you get what you pay for.
