Hi guys I’m running 8 plants in a rdwc system they’re a week old all of them have rooted beautifully and growing rapid and strong all except 1!
There’s one little fucker that is rooted but the roots haven’t grown through the net pots yet and is still green and the colour looks healthy but last night it started to droop but I realised tonight the water level was a bit low, so I topped the res off tonight and the water level is back to normal.
But do any of you have any idea why there all growing well except just the one?
It’s the one on the bottom right

Some are just slow right from the cut. Letting it dry out and droop caused some stress so that didnt help. You can top feed the slow one once a day for a couple of weeks to make sure the roots stay wet. If you top your plants dont top the little guy till its as tall as the others. Just try to keep everything stress free if you stress them out in any way it will effect the little guy the most and keep holding it back.

Thanks for the advice guys

That slow ome is also clearly getting the least light. So there it is.
I had only just moved the plant into that pot I swapped it with the one on the top left as someone told me if it’s getting to much light it may stunt the root growth or something like that so I moved it out from the full spectrum and put it so it’s just under the MH.

Is that a pure purple stem?
It’s purple about 3/4 of the way up, I have had these clones off my friend before for my last grow and they had purple stems but some people just told me that could just be genetics ect?

Id just hand feed till it catches up .

Some are just slow this is why its nice to be able to pull more clones then you need to slect ones that are all roughly the same :)

I dont think light has much to do with it ;)

By the way it’s growing out on the other plants , it’s a ca/mg problem.
Ask your buddy if he clones in RO water ?
The other posts are good info too and are right , but the 1st problem was under developed roots from ca/mg problem

Is it dry in there ?
Not really it’s at 40% humidity lights on and goes up to50% lights off and I’m running a cool mist humidifier so not to dry in there?

what do u think it could be cal/mag def? I’m using AN nutes and apparently my base nutes have cal/mag in them so weren’t sure if I should also get some cal mag to put in the system?

For veg i belive 60s is optimal rh if i recall

Basically plants use higher rh the younger they are if that makes sense.

But your rh now is perfect for budding in :)

And your rh will go up as the plants get bigger .
As they will be pumping more water.

As to the cal mag thing thats personal and up to you .

I for one beleive most of the time cal mag is in abundance in solid bases .

But it shouldnt hurt to add a little and see if its for the best just give it 3 days or so to see a difference

It was a ca/mg dif ,
I’m going to guess your clone sorce uses RO water n had things less then idea n the root strike took long . Probably to wet.
I would just top feed like previous posted and watch. Your other plants look ok. So don’t go adding a bunch of shit.

Ok cheers pal, that’s what threw me off a bit was the fact that the rest of em look nice and healthy and have explosive growth!
