That shiny stuff is going to create heat spots. What is that even sheet metal?
Looks like simple ole mylar. An ole growroom favorite. It wont create "heat spots" as much as it will reflect plant usable light. I say keep it. If anything (and its obvious that the plan is to veg/train/scrog until the net is full...maybe pop another dwc in there and run 2 plants for less veg and quicker plant canopy fill out? I dunno. Looks like hes got bases covered. Simple climate control. Monitors. All ya need is the right cultivar to bring a satchel full of buds on home for the win. Classic closet personal use banger. Nice bro...nice!!!

I guess I’m used to flatter white types like orca and plain flat white paint. Never been a fan of the tin foil look.

Yeah. Looks funky but far from tin foil. Back in the day..mylar was IT for growroom reflection. Trick is to get it flat and even as much as possible. Still to this day..and ya dont see many rooms covered with ole mylar these days...its still quite practical fer a small room.

In the olden days..what few hydro shops were out there..they would sell 2 different kinds of mylar. The 3 mil and the much more robust 5 mil. Believeit or not...ole mylar by the roll was a big deal for optimum grow room reflectivity. All the old grow books and High Times articles used to rave about it.
